Shouldn't Favre be in there to practice the 2 minute offense? He needs to get his head out of his ass if this team is going to compete.

Fixed! Join the club.

I didn't want to use league twice in the same sentence, lol.

Fun?

I am scared shitless about that game. The Ravens are such a dirty team full of criminals and murderers. Add in the fact that the Steelers can't handle any blitz makes me afraid for Ben's life. Add in the fact that Byron Stonefeet Sandwich is our backup and there could be two murders next Monday. :(
Which defense should I start next week... the bloodthirsty Ravens against a Pittsburgh O-Line that will probably surrender 10 sacks.

Or the best D in the league... the TITANS... vs. the Gus Bus.

This would have been a much easier decision before Tarvaris got benched. Now I'm thinking I'll roll the dice with Baltimore.

(Have the Bears and Bills D in my other fantasy league... how'd I wind up with some awesome D and such crappy everything else this year?)

13-3 this week.

i put 5 pts on the bears only to have them choke in OT. i put 9 pts on the colts...only to have them choke in the 4th quarter.

and 8 points on the browns. but that was all my fault. fuck derek anderson

i jumped from 40th after week 1 to 3rd now

Wow, you called the Miami win? I'm impressed.

With all this Favre talk, and seeing Young there... memories.

8 seconds left. Young drops back. Throws to T.O. Caught! 49ers win!

Good times.

Emmit bashing the Raiders! Awesome.

Went to the bar and watching Favre fuck up was great. It was great seeing him do nothing unless Washington gave him good field position.

wasn't that the game where Jerry Rice fumbled on that very same drive only it wasn't called?

there is a video of the raiders dude almost throwing down with kawakami. it will probably be pulled soon. :lol never change raiders, never change....
Here's Kawakami's response:
I feel bad for Raiders employees. I really do. I understand the unique pressures and paranoia involved when you work for Al Davis. I talk to enough people who used to work for him to know.

I have a feeling at some point John Herrera and I will sit back and laugh about this. Maybe not for a while, but we probably will. I think he’s normally a very nice man.

It’s fairly entertaining when you can step back and see it from far away. It’s illustrative and it’s a little sad, again, in an always entertaining way. This is what the once-great franchise is reduced to? But when it’s running up to you and screaming in your face and calling you a liar and apparently intimating that I was dabbling in counter-culture activities with a national NFL writer? HUH? In front of every local TV station, to be shown at 6 and 11 I would guess? Well, now!

(With Lane Kiffin beaming like a Cheshire Cat as he walked past us, by the way. Beaming like the happiest man on earth. Glad to give you a giggle, LK. I’m SURE Kiffin and I will have a laugh about this one… fairly soon. Oh by the way: He’s not fired yet, but it’s still pending.)

Oh man, that’s really really interesting to walk into the heart of the Raiders. That’s what happened to me just a little while ago and it was like dropping into Wonderland for few minutes–I could see what the Raiders see, I could feel what the Raiders feel, I was really tapped into the mania.

Man, it was trippy. Head-spinning. Hallucinatory.

Herrera brought me there by angrily confronting me about a question I asked Kiffin. I feel bad for the guy (well for BOTH guys), but Herrera’s the one who closed Kiffin’s Monday news conference by stepping up to me, shouting at me, calling me a liar.

I didn’t get mad. You’ll see the video. I wasn’t mad. I was interested: THIS IS WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE INSIDE THE RAIDER MANIA.

It was crazy. It was other-worldly, where normal truths didn’t mean anything. Yep, I feel like I know the Raiders soooo well now.

"Hello Alex? This is Big Russ. I need some advice on how to spend
all that number 1 pick money. Don't front like your busy you got all
the time in the world."

:lol

I'm not mad... the Raiders can hang with the best team in the AFC East even though their coach wants to lose!

and we can beat... a 1-2 team and destroy maybe the worst team in the league? oh :(

I started slow last season and finished second, don't think you're safe for one minute.

:lol :lol
“You said it better than me,” Harrison said. “There’s no place in the game for that. (But) it’s part of the game. You have to protect yourself. It’s disappointing that guys don’t take care of each other, but we’ll just have to be on guard, because there’s some dirty stuff out there.”
Reminds me of Lloyd when he's driving Mary to the airport in Dumb & Dumber.

So, JTO has the 4th best passer rating in the NFL? No fucking way.

Our defense is holding some pretty good passing attacks to under 200 yards. We shut down the Lions potent passing attack, and limited the Cards ( though we lost). Nate is playing elite right now, and Walt is looking solid.

I'm drinking the 49er kool-aid already. :lol

That it was. I always enjoyed watching Steve Young play. IMO, greatest QB of all time. A true warrior. Super accurate, lefty, loved to scramble, and not afraid to put his head down (confirmed by numerous concussions lol).

The pass, the catch:

Anyways, this season has been kinda weird for me so far. Dallas I expected to play like they are. But wow the Colts are hurting. Philly is looking pretty solid, though injuries are going to tear them up if BW is hurting and McNabb is a glass canon. Can't believe my Niners are 2-1 so far though lol.
