Pens got jumped in the third. Can't get anything going on offense and then some D collapses. Bad news will be if Devs/Sens goes to OT and they both get points. Oh well, looks like it's the 5th seed. Really thought the Pens would have more for the Sabres tonight.

****, Emery sucks at shootouts(thank god no shootouts in the playoffs). Atleast we got a point.

What a game by Raycroft tonight! He really showed me something with this performance. I've been critical of his play at times this season but he's proven that he's a money goaltender when it counts. At $2 million a season I see now that he's a steal -- 37 wins, there are goalies making alot more with alot fewer wins. The Flyers were hungry tonight, they've had a history against the Leafs and they would have loved nothing more then to hand a defeat to Leaf Nation. Against any other goaltender they might have succeeded, but not Raycroft, not tonight. Incredible.

Shit game from the Pens tonight, and a crappy result in the Devils/Sens game too. Blargh. I don't wanna face the Sens in the first round on the road. :(

Man, I really don't like Bryan McCabe.

Saku Koivu has put the Canadiens on his shoulder, 2 great goals tonight. Nice to see the Canes eliminated, that's one team of the Habs shoulders.

Hopefully the Isles pull out a Win, and play hungry against the Leafs on Thursday.

The drama continues..

Well said dude. This Luongo vs Brodeur crap starts to grate on you, know what I mean? Raycroft flies under the radar like that Stealth Bomber, wreaking havoc in the process while people wonder what hit them. JFJ should also get credit as his "neo-GM" vision outshines that of dinosaurs from yesteryear like Lou Lamoriello who have to resort to panic maneuvers like firing a coach with 2 games to go. JFJ on the other hand gets the job done with the mere stroke of a pen as Carlton the Bear can easily attest to.

*applauds*

And the worst team in the league took the desperate Leafs to overtime and they needed a PP to get through it. I predict a bright future for Manics.

Leafs are 4-0 against the Flyers this season. Habs actually lost to them.

Yes, a -22. He leads by example.
He's 2 points from having his best season ever in terms of points and that's after almost losing an eye and coming back from cancer, I don't think he has anything to prove to anyone anymore and he's leading by example everyday he laces those skates.

Find somebody else, buddy. Because no one on that Leafs team can even come close to Koivu's leadership and example on and off the ice.

according to the nhl online report viewer... NYI have won... which means thursday will be hard for both Toronto and Montreal

Koivu's stepped it up during this playoff drive, the game winning goals don't lie. Unlike the leaf captain that hasn't put one in the net for his team in the last 18 games.

:lol

Wow...if it isn't Malakhov....here he is lathering the balls of his latest Habs "sac du jour".

Tune in next week as he nuzzles his chin under Steve Begin's man bag....

Sundin almost lost an eye too and he far surpasses Koivu in leadership and skill. Nice try buddy. 1239 points vs. 529.

Different context. You would have come back with "well the Habs lost to Philly too" if the Flyers had won that game. Difference here is that the Leafs came close to blowing their "playoff drive :)lol :lol )" against the 30th place Flyers.

Saturday will be interesting for mass suicides in the GTA.

How many games has it been lately that the Leafs have blown third period leads, and quite often three-goal leads? The Leafs are extremely lucky to be where they are, props to Maurice.

Man what jealousy. Your top goalie only has 19 wins, he could only dream of reaching 37 or more. :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Wow I just checked, Huet has 37 wins -- in TWO SEASONS WITH MONTREAL! WOW!!!

Sorry I'm too busy enjoying Halak right now and I'm also too busy thinking about Carey Price's future.

Huet/Halak/Price

I'm so jealous of Raycroft :lol

Doesn't take much does it? Forza and myself were "pulling a Hab" just to show how Hab fans quickly move their tongues from one player to the next after any win. Early in the season Latendstiff was the promising young sniper, Huet was the Vezina winner and Souray was the reincarnation of Bobby Orr. Now the focus is back on Koivu as the best leader since Napolean and Halak is the next coming of George Vezina himself.

Sorry Hab fans, it was just too easy.

Too easy Manics. Only Habs fans would take a mediocre goalie like Raycrap and fluff him up. They took your bait because they've had experience in doing likewise with Theodore, Hackett, Aebischer, Huet, and now Halak.

Halak is the next Vezina?
Koivu is the best leader since Napolean?

Jesus Christ, its like were not allowed to complement our players...

There is still an amazingly slim chance that the Flames could miss the playoffs. Please, Hockey Jesus, make it my Easter present!
