I'm suddenly getting the feeling that I'm
.
completely fucked for the sorceress' shrine boss, because I'm continuously being wailed on by the colossi-looking enemies, and I'm running out of MP, fast

purg3 said:You don't need the tablet for a little while. Just go down and make your way to the next area(Dungeon Shrine) that has boulders rolling down 3 sets of stairs. Move the central pillar and trigger a boulder to crash through the blocked doorway.
Not a Jellyfish said:hey thanx manwhat do you mean by central pillar? i am about the pop the game in but i don't remember there being pillars.

purg3 said:On the center stairwell, there is a large movable pillar. Push it to the side until it turns red, then when you trigger a boulder in will roll past it into the blocked doorway.

Wow, after reading some of the comments, I'm on the verge of getting this game. Anybody experience the bad slow downs as reported in some reviews? If you have, do the slowdowns bother you?

Relix said:Yeah I beat him. Constantly healing Jansen and spamming Flare on him. Not that hard when you figure out the tactic!

One of the bosses drops a freaking + 10 slot item? Goodbye useless mortals!:lol
BluWacky said:I'm on disc 4 (Asian version, huzzah!) and I'm beginning to see where ducky and Bebpo's complaints about the plot are coming from. To be honest, I could see them on disc 3 as well...
(plot spoilers abound!)
Thank you!Railer said:Chinmonster:Roll it onto the elevator thingy, and the other one will come down and you can pick up a item

I found the bow and celestial discs, but the last one is eluding me.
Rekki-Maru said:i heard this game just comes packaged in a paper envelope w/ a piece of bubble wrap, for the US.

Sir Fragula said:Yeah, and it stacks with the +3 slot skill... I just wish I'd done that before:
Anyway, I finally stopped doing the side quests and went back to the main story with that annoying more or less timed battle. By using the right spell and rings it was a piece of cake, but still I'd rather it hadn't been there in the first place. Next boss battle was easy since I hadAnd the +5 I guess!
Can't say exactly the type of card I'm using for various reasons, but it's something like a BlackMagic Intensity Pro.aerofx said:dude, what do you use to capture your videos? I wanna try.
Repeat that a few times and you'll level up no end. Just be sure to save each time...masterkajo said:Beginning of disc 3 and backtracking...
I went back to find some things I forgot and went back to the Numara Atoll too. I so got owned by that giant crab thing - went down with one of his attacks (All Aquaus or something like that). But then I tried it again using nearly all available buffs and just GC ups in the front row and after a 10 min battle I defeated it!
I so love this game for its tactical approach... !!

Alex said:Load times are consistent with the genre and I've yet to encounter any real slow down, certainly nothing like Blue Dragon had in parts, the reviews for this game contain so much bullshit and misinformation it's not even funny.

Relix said:I think the buggy review copy is at fault there. I haven't seen a single technical problem most of them speak of, with the notable exception of frame rate drops, and those are not frequent and are bearable. Beautiful game all around.

purg3 said:I don't think it matters how long it takes someone to finish the game, as long as you're enjoying it. I like to take my time, explore, complete side stuff, and teach all the immortals new skills as I get them.
Phthisis said:The Story of Old Man Greo was great. That one probably has the best use of sound in any of the dream stories so far. I also like how Kaim really came out as the stronger character in that one rather than the other way around, like most of the other stories.
And then The Tragedy of the Butcher General. That one was superb. Goosebumps.
