Oh, I know dude it's the most frustrated I've been with a game. 3 of my 8 games have disconnected just like that. It sucks donkey balls for sure. The game is so good when it works, unfortunately that's only a few innings at a time.

I still can't tell what is going on in the outfield once I get a hit. Couple of those wall balls I played conservatively as hell.

I wouldn't say death of a league. At least not yet. I'll still get my games in. Just expect me to rant endlessly in here either way. If I have experienced that shit in my first eight games then I expect the same outcome to happen in the later games. It just seems like whatever can go wrong for me, does. It's unlucky. Then there's a bunch of online game issues to throw in the mix: animation problems, glitched outfielding resulting in errors, games crashing in the late innings, and the batting and pitching system lagging a bit (compared to last year at least). Pile all of that on top of regular unlucky baseball plays (errors and a small strike zone) and you get a shitstorm of frustration.

Might not be able to make my game tonight. Just got a call about my grandma - she's in hospice care atm, but my dad said today might be her last. I can't see her like this so if she's still kicking I'll be around for my game but just a head's up in case I get another call...

Go see your grandmother.. trust me you will regret it. No matter how hard it is for you it's important to her. Don't have the same regrets I do 12 years later.

I've seen her nearly every day since she had the stroke that put her where she's at last month. Up until a few days ago she was still able to kind of communicate, but it's overwhelming emotionally now. I might change my mind after I get out of work, but at this moment I'm trying to keep myself as distracted as I can.

I know what you mean though.

Sorry to hear that man. Went through something similiar last year and best advice is to go see her now. Don't worry about a videogame or any of that stuff. I know it can be an escape, but living with that regret that you could have seen her before anything may happen is way more important.

Let me know what time these games need to be finished. I think if we advance at 10 CT every Friday that sounds reasonable?

That was my internet Sanjuro. It just died. It actually died for a second in the first inning but it was so quick, it didn't DC us.

Just take the W. You were up 5 and I was not going to get back in it. Your hitting is too good. Matt Moore throwing balls in the first inning didnt help either. You can take the other game too. I just can't play another right now. Between the Yankees series and yours im too frustrated. I need to better recognize balls and strikes.

You got a killer team.

Yeah, I wasn't sure what that was during the first pitch. You just have to be a bit more patient with the counts, simplify your hitting a bit more.

This is actually the worst Red Sox team in the game in a very long time to be honest.

I assigned the wins.

good series pistol! i get frustrated at times because i try to hold up on a pitch and he continues to just swing through... then other times he does hold up! i kept having bad early innings and that cost me. i need a power hitter :(

BigJonsson, I can play tonight if you think you'll be around. 10pm est if you're available. I know the league advances at 11pm EST, I think an hour would be enough time to get our game in. But I'm ok if we sim it also.

Nice. What were you playing? Whenever I go I usually stick to roulette. I absolutely hate the noise slot machines make and don't trust myself enough for card games.

I play holdem. I trust myself a lot more than a slot machine or a roullette wheel. :)

I also bet a little piece of my Winnings on the Belmont tomorrow. Lets go Samraat and Wicked Strong!
