I needed an excuse to post this:

I just saw Edgar Renteria, right now, peform an unassisted triple play against the Phillies.

Wow. That was fast. Two on, on first and second. Nobody out. A line shot to Edgar (shortstop) pulling him towards second base. He steps/tags seconds base as the guy on second had a long lead, and then throws it to first where the base runner also had a foolishly long lead.

I've only ever seen one other triple play in baseball before.

Oh, I guess the MLB.tv quality isn't that hot.

But I did think that the play by play guys said it was Renteria.

Regardless, HOT.

Ooh, pretty exciting play at the plate with Trot sliding in/beating the throw for the 3rd BoSox run.

Did I just hear boo's at a spring training game??? (BoSox just tied the game 4-4, they should be sitting the rest of their starters now right? It's the bottom of the 6th)
