Ok same deal as the Capcom one, the Square Enix press conference is in 4 hours 30 mins. Here's what Square Enix has officially announced in their line-up this year:

- Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (DVD)
- Dirge of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII (PS2)
- Before Crisis Final Fantasy VII (Mobile)
- Kingdom Hearts II (PS2)
- Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (PS2)
- Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
- Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir (PS2)
- Radiata Stories (PS2)
- Romancing SaGa (PS2)
- Final Fantasy XI (PS2, PC)
- Front Mission Online (PS2, PC)
- Final Fantasy II (Mobile)
- Front Mission 2089 (Mobile)
- Final Fantasy VII Snowboarding (Mobile)
- Hexcite Fusion (Mobile)
- Musashi Mobile Samurai (Mobile)

They might have some surprises lined up but it seems unlikely. Will we hear a FFXII release date? Will they show Crisis Core FFVII or FFIII DS as a surprise? Details on the PlayOnline/Revolution/DSOnline deals? We'll all find out in a few hours! :D

u r ready to create one topic by press conference ?

I think it's good the seperate the discussiosn threads by conference since we only have 4 today (Capcom, Square Enix, Sony and MS). It'll allow people to get all the news and details on that conference so far with just one-click rather than having to dig through a bunch of scattered threads or in one big messy "E3 conferences" thread. :D

Why dont you just make it an Official pre-E3 AND E3 Discussion Thread.

IS the press conference going to be live?

By far the most interesting lineup for me... What exactly is Hexcite Fusion again?

*still hoping for some surprises - like portable game pics*

Not that I play anymore, but I'm kind of surprised that there seems to be no news of a new FFXI expansion on the horizon. What *would* be cool is if S-E was working on Final Fantasy Online next-gen. *drool*

Maybe they could fix some problems with the first game *and* give us good visuals not limited by the power of the console.

Considering these new systems are reportedly more powerful than PCs (although, who knows how long that will last?) and seem to focus on online gaming, I would not be totally surprised.

i predict we will be shown the final 3 minutes of advent children we haven't seen yet, hence ruining any anticipation for anything unexpected.

FFXI will be at E3, so who knows, maybe they have some new content ready to counter WoW?

According to the Square Enix press release:

HEXCITE FUSION

As the minutes turn into hours, you'll realize that Hexcite Fusion's gameplay has you in its grasp! Shift your shapes and form your geometric strategy. Try playing with a friend in two-player mode or match wits against three different AI levels. 800,000 copies of the board game have shipped in both the U.S. and Japan! Consider yourself warned - don't pick up HEXCITE unless you've got the time to be furiously addicted! North American compatible phones and launch date TBA.

I would seriously be surprised if there is ever another FFXI expansion pack. It's not gonna be another EQ - they'll try to whittle the numbers down gradually next year, once Promathia's finished, and then they'll start hyping their next big MMORPG.

It's a little early, but I'm hoping for some FFXI news too. Just for the hell of it, not getting my hopes up, but hey you never know.

Well, just saying, this time last year, around April, I think, is when Promathia info started to come up. I just figured that they would continue the trend. I'm sure they'll show something, but there seems to be no indication of a new, full-on expansion.

Still, I kind of secretly hope they'll scrap FFXI soon (well, not scrap, but switch focus) in favor of a new, next-gen FF Online.

Yeah quite true, it would certainly be the best time to talk about the future of the game, but expansions I'm not so sure about. Zilart had been out for over a year in Japan though, I can't remember how close it was to being complete (or if it was) when Promathia was announced. Then again I can't even gauge how far along Promathia is either, heh, as I've only just now unlocked Tavnazia.

I'm a slow MMORPG player, which is why I'm not hoping for the latter comment, not yet anyways. Most people agree with you though it seems, and I'm just being selfish. :P

I saw the trailer for Front Mission online here in Japan...looks hot!

Oh shit! I remember playing a friend's copy Hexcite on GBC years ago. Fuckin' awesome shit.

Mobile? Boourns.

Looks awesome, kind of reminds me of Daedalian Opus on the original GB (nobody probably remembers that game - same concept but with rectangular, Tetris style shapes instead of polygons). That Abalone port looks cool, I have the board game somewhere in my basement and that was a LOT of fun.

That game was f'n ace as well. We need some of those games on PSP/DS g'damnit.

Zilart was complete. It was complete before the game was even released in the US, hence why we got it for free. Promathia was announced about 5-6 months after US PC release, I believe.
