The Jets offense was never considered good, though. Sanchez was making a few plays, but they weren't exactly lighting teams up. They're a defensive team and that's still true.

Eli took the superbowl that year, but Romo lit it up in the regular season. If I remember Eli had a game that year against the vikings 6 INT returned for TD, and people were questioning him through the entire year.

I had NO idea that the Saints defense could hold up this well though. I give them credit for hanging around like this. Back in the day, Brees would have had to throw just to make up for how spotty they were.
