Official Week 4 NFL Thread - Homecoming Week

Jesus Roethlisberger Christ. This is an old fashioned ass whipping.

Being 2-2 with the Lions and Browns coming up next I feel we should rest Troy until after the bye. Given a whole month of rest he is going to be as good as he will ever be this season and by playing the younger guys we will have even more depth at safety for the rest of the season.

They are a very ordinary team w/o LT being dominant. Especially since the defense is a joke right now..

Agreed completely. Maybe play him a bit for the Browns considering that's still a rivalry game, but otherwise I agree.
 
Roethlisberger has been ridiculously accurate this season, he should have two less interceptions to his name this season as well.

It would be nice if the defense actually got off the field to give LT a chance to run.

He has always been accurate. You can't win that many games without being accurate. His only weakness (not including homely hotel workers) is also one of his biggest strengths, that he hates to give up on a play and looks for the homerun. But that is also how he pulls so much shit out of his ass and gets us the win in the 4th quarter.
 
Is Denver officially better than the Chargers? No way Pittsburgh would rough up their defense like this. Hell, the Bengals and Titans held the Steelers in check...
 
I'm pretty satisfied with this game, we really need to get more pressure without the blitz though. Even with the Blitz, we're still not really getting to the QB.

Are you joking? Chargers look abysmal. Meanwhile Denver has solid defense and talented receivers.

It is only week 4. Jesus why are people so quick to jump to conclusions. The Chargers do look like shit but it seems like half of their team is injured or out of steroids. The Broncos were also ridiculously lucky to win against the Bungles and didn't really dominate or do anything great against Dallas today. I don't think there is a big difference between the two teams.

They are getting rid of it and dinking. Everyone has done that on us going back to Arizona. Glad to see LeBeau has adjusted. As long as aren't giving up first downs it doesn't matter how.

Speak of the devil. The line did not get the pressure on that one and Rivers did hold onto it...
