The problem is patience is in short supply when the game comes out. We can barely wait for the first roster update, let alone enough time for the community to determine if the game is shit or not.

With Madden, you usually see the shortcomings in the first couple of weeks. The fact that online leagues didn't have real regular season schedules came out the week before release. The messed up seeding of online franchise came out week 1. The lack of improvements in OF came out before the game was released from early players. We'll never get the reviewers or devs to cop to it, but the users usually fiddle around with everything with early copies.

I wasn't even saying OF would get me by itself. I'll let others kick the tires around. We waited a month last time to get things started anyway. Although, I realize people were still acting like they had no idea what they were signing up for in the league. :p

I miss football, NCAA was great, I just got horrendous lag for some reason, hopefully that doesn't happen in this years version. I think we all know we'll be first in line to buy Madden, even if it's garbage. I for one can't wait for a rematch with Birdman & Patrick "Bo Jackson" Cobb.

like i said before, if there are no online franchise improvements in madden and i still buy it i will buy everyone on GAF a copy of madden 2012 and you can save this post too. maybe if NCAA didn't exist i could put up with this shoddy treatment from madden tiburon, but with ncaa raising the bar i can no longer accept paying $60 (or even $40) for a barebones version of madden!

He's banking on the fact that you'll all be there day 1 so you won't need a new copy of Madden. He didn't count on the fact that I won't be there and I'm putting his post on a news aggregate so he has to buy 20,000 copies for APF fans.

This is my main problem. The reviewers don't want (or don't have time) to play more than a couple of games and unless they're intimately familiar with the previous year's game they can't tell what the differences are.

I'll get it on 360, at worst I'll just return it.

I'd take Gradkowski over both! Palmer and Campbell is a stalemate. I guess I'd give a slight edge to Palmer because he might have a good game or two trying to prove that he's not garbo. He'd still be shit, though. Campbell is JRussJr. Look at only one target -> Hessitate -> Hestitate -> Hessitate -> Fumble

One of you guys should try out for this:

I'm putting together a small group in the morning to discuss franchise mode tuning. No new features will be discussed until we release info on them publicly.

You MUST be a hardcore franchise mode fan, have played franchise in Madden 11 and know what I'm talking about when I discuss progression, re-sign logic, draft trades, etc.

And yes it was the single most fraudulent NCAA championship of all time and no matter how much Lonestar brings this up it doesn't remove the fact that I won one.

I remember that. except Live wasnt down because any Joe Schmoe hacker could shut it down for like the 4th time in a month. PSN is like the fat ugly 50 year old at the shithole bar. legs just wide open. Xbox is like a Las Vegas escort. yeah you gotta pay but you know that shits gonna be good
