Lots of confusing blitzes, good coverage, and Richard Seymour.

DTs > DEs this year. Hell, LaMarr Houston has sacks and they're just a result of being on Seymour's side. Wimbley is a good pass rusher too, so he frees some guys. Seymour takes up two guys so he frees up guys too. Most of them are coverage sacks, though.

None of this will help me against the playoff teams, though. Guys with overrated QBs and OLs who are also good passers. There's no way of sacking Peyton Manning, for example. The OL, QB, receivers, and user are too good.

I'm waiting on PC for Arkham City since I already have it bought. It's going to be a tough wait though, considering Arkham Asylum is one of my favorite games ever. If Dark Souls wasn't out and consuming my soul I probably would cave and buy a console version.

Part of my brain is slightly worried too at the PC delay after how secretive id was with the PC version of Rage and then seeing that there was a good reason for it. Knowing how good the PC version of Arkham Asylum was has quieted that thought for the most part, but it's still gnawing at me a bit.

I fail to see why this is funny, it's my LBs and 2 of my linemen, and my run defense is a beast just as it should be if you go by ratings. My secondary is average, and that's where my defense crumbles, that's the only point I was making.

Only 5 is what he was laughing at. Rors has 2 players in the 90s and one is his punter.

Yea, it is, think I misread Timmons as an 88.

Anyways, the point you guys are missing is that 90% of the guys on my team rated that high are run specialists, none of my LBs are good coverage guys, and aside from run stopping, their greatest asset of getting sacks is completely nullified in the game because getting pressure is broken. I can send the house and people still have all day to throw on me, it makes no sense.

I'd also say a lot of my passing given up comes as a result of me running almost zone exclusively, if I don't, I end up getting Farrior on WRs, thanks Madden.

lol, guys, NUMBER 3 RUSH DEFENSE! My slow LBs who are terrible in coverage do not help against the pass. I think the only one that has INTs is Timmons and that's because I control him all game.

I too got the game because of Bob's shilling (on 360). Haven't opened it though too many other fun stuff to play at the moment although Gears 3 was meh. Couldn't get into it at all. Don't think Third Person Shooters are for me.

It's actually great, but at the same time it's definitely the type of game that some people simply won't like. It's punishing and refuses to hold your hand at any time.

Anyway, Pitt lives and dies by the zone blitz. You'll get torn up by Brady, but you'll kill everyone else. And Ike Taylor has some decent numbers. They're not great, but he's 85. When you have an all-90s front seven and a badass safety, that's really all you need.

At this point whenever a player gets hurt I always put in their backup when asked, or if possible. If you get the fade to black screen after an injury that's a hint that your player is screwed. Long term injury most of the time. From what I've read nobody else has lost a player for the entire year like I have, but there are lots of 5+ week injuries floating around.

GG. Got my butt whooped but I was just frustrated at the game seemingly going against me. There was a pass where I had your receiver perfectly covered, I was standing in FRONT of him holding the Y button, and the pass went through my defender for a completion. There was that stupid roughing the passer penalty. And finally that pass that my defender tipped and caught by your receiver out of bounds, which was then overturned into a completion.

Oh well, EA football games giving me headaches.
