The Carolina Panthers have come to terms on the release of both LOLB Thomas Davis and LG Travelle Wharton.
We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

bluemax said:So I'll spare the full list of ratings changes but here are my best:
Sherman +11
Thomas +10
Browner +9
Maxwell +9
Okung +8
Robinson +6
Polumbus +6
Portis +6
Thurmond + 6
Johnson +6
Smith +6
Wright + 6
Wilson +5
Butler +5
Santi +5
wilson +5
The biggest three are probably Browner, Thomas and Okung.
Oh look, the top QBs isn't Riggs. See DCX, I told you the names weren't always the same!
It's a limitation of Madden, not LM. You literally can't drop your kicker without another on roster already.LiveWire said:So I have to sign Gano to a contract, lose that cap space when I dump him, just to sign a new kicker? That doesn't make any sense.

We did it through LM. I noticed him in the FA list too afterwards but didn't wanna sign him manually in fear of messing something up. Hopefully that corrects itself before the draft.DCX said:how are we handling trades? I see Fairley in the free agent list so did they complete a trade was a cut and sign deal made?

bluemax said:So uh, last night Earl Thomas went from an 82 to a 92, now today he is back to 82. What the shit?
So draft on Sunday?FrenchMovieTheme said:please re-sign any players that you want to re-sign by sunday night at 9 pm pst.
AT THIS TIME I WILL BE DROPPING THOSE PLAYERS TO FREE AGENCY. FREE AGENCY WILL THEN BEGIN IMMEDIATELY AND WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE START OF THE SEASON.
i'll post some friendly reminders about free agency before it starts, but one major thing is i'm disabling bid removal. so if you bid on a free agent guy, then get someone in the draft and want to remove it, tough titties. deal wif it!

So draft on Sunday?
BigAT said:Where are you seeing that? It shows up as $5M for me.
FrenchMovieTheme said:is the draft console up? last i heard they are still working on it. we can't have the draft until that is done
bluemax said:Why not?
FrenchMovieTheme said:because picks have been traded and they are only recognized on LM.
p.s. mcribb has retired apparently!
FrenchMovieTheme said:check your draft pick trades guys, seems like they aren't showing! i posted on LM to see whats up
also, cap penalties will begin in week 1 of season 2. haven't decided what the penalties will be yet but i'll let you know before we start week 1. so if you're going to cut someone i suggest to do it in the off season

CB3 said:There is something out cap penalties on the main LM page. It mentioned having to do it manually. check it out.
Wellington said:Levious, I think you are the best addition to the league in years.
I will check with LM and EA site.CB3 said:People with test leagues:
Did the player progression that happened right after the superbowl stick like that into the actual season? Pheeknicks says in his other league it went back down a little when the season started. seems like an important thing to test
bluemax said:So wait, I can cut someone right now with no penalty?
He can come to Cin City if he would like.ph33nix said:boy am I stuck. do I re-sign and overpay young DE Jason Jones for 5 million plus?
He's not actually trying though. Here's the worst: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KyuTlb3wOs&feature=relatedDMczaf said:
Confirmed..you have have until the start of the season. Any players cut under contract after that will trigger penalties. Confirmed by the commish this afternoon.Wellington said:This is an important question. I'd drop a couple of guys if I could.

The Carolina Panthers have come to terms with the release of six more players this evening:
Derek Anderson (QB)
Legedu Naanee (WR)
Omar Gaither (ROLB)
Ron Edwards (DT)
Stevie Brown (FS)
Sean Considine (SS)
In addition, WR Steve Smith and HB Jonathan Stewart have both signed multiyear extensions. When asked about the extensions, head coach and GM GCQ said "Locking up J-Stew was a no brainer after his performance last season, starting in only 12 games. He's only going to get better. As far as Steve Smith goes, he's obviously still playing at a high level and we wanted to make sure that he retires a Panther. Under this deal, he likely will. With David Gettis also having a good year and jumping 8 points this offseason to an 82, we've now got a legit 1-2 combo at wideout alongside our TEs for Cam Newton to throw to".
Rorschach said:...franchise site says I released JCamp. LM says he's still there. Contract is still there too.
Don't worry about dropping players. Just resign whoever you want that has 0 years left in their contract so they don't go to FA.TheDrizzlerJ11 said:dont advance, just got home, there's a 2 month old puppy in my room. This could take awhile.
I'm too late or is my account bugged? I can't drop them because I'm not the league commissioner it says.
