What's scaring me is that as soon as 6 PM hits, EA's server and PSN/XBL are going to get slammed.

I got married there. There are no bars near Mandalay Bay. They are so far away from the rest of the strip that there is nothing close. Though there is a liquor store across the street. Mandalay itself has a House of Blues, but it is pretty small and cramped. I would take a cab or bus to the rest of the strip. Maybe near the Mirage or Planet Hollywood. Alot more to do down there. Mandalay is super nice, but can't really party there. They have a club/bar in the middle of the casino, but it was pretty lame.

On topic: I am so tempted to do the Season Pass, I have a sickness.

It'll take a few hrs of downloading. Not worth it. Don't give in to their bullshit!

The way I see it, it is better than standing at Gamestop at midnight feeling disgusted with yourself in public. This way you can be disgusted with yourself in your own home!

This is why I get mine at wal-mart. Sure, there are a lot of "interesting" people there, but at least I don't have to wait in any lines.

I'd still be doing it if it wasn't for NCAA. Dude, we've been too hard on Madden. It could be so much worse.

I actually played Madden 10 for a night just to wash the taste of NCAA out of my mouth.

I just hope this season is at least half of what 10 was like for our league. Hopefully we can go for more than 1 season and not all get burnt out again.

pryor could actually be decent. aside from his THA and AWR his stats are pretty good. we all know AWR doesn't mean a damn thing with a human controlling the qb. the THA will definitely be a pain in the ass though

One thing you guys might like is that you can turn off audibling with the d-pad. It works like last year's version, so it's not perfect like in NCAA, but it's something.

lol, yes he is. Can't speak for other teams, but the Chargers roster is fairly accurate.

I haven't played online yet. I'd rather not play with randoms, so I'll wait until tomorrow to try it out.

Good idea, just created one and started playing the first game against the CPU. Pretty much same as last year. Gameflow is forced on you. You can go without the d-pad for audibles (it goes with whatever you have set in your settings).

Sorry, didn't mean to say that Gameflow was forced on you and that was the only option you had. You can still go into your playbook.

The way it works is after a play, a little window pops up in the corner with two options. One is the play that Gameflow chooses for you (press A). The other option is to go into your playbook to choose a play (press X). If you're the type that likes to mash A to get to the next play, you'll be choosing Gameflow a lot.

I imagine if you're playing Livewire you can just run the game flow offense and cruise to victory.

I'll try it out online with you today if you're down. Got my channel and equipment all set up for streaming too. Would be a good test to see how bad I am at Madden, and to experiment with some stuff on my channel. Right now I steam at 720p, but I'd like to mess around and see if I can push it to 1080p after adjusting some settings.

Yeah just hit me up if you see me on Live. Might go to dinner with the wife but I'll be around after.

The game's available for download now on 360 if you guys want to get it. PS3 version is still 6 EST.
