Death By Cube Is A Fitting Name For Square Enix’s “Project Cube”

image At E3 I played a twin stick shooter from Square Enix tentatively called Project Cube where cubes exploded into a bloody mess when shot.



Looks like the Xbox Live Arcade game has a new name. Square Enix trademarked Death By Cube in Europe, which sounds like it’s going to be used for Project Cube. Death By Cube is catchier and it fits the game too. See, you die when giant cubes overwhelm you.



Project Cube aka Death By Cube is slated for a release sometime this year.

Kodu was released this morning. I'm too scared to make a 360 thread, but would appreciate some feedback on it - a quick go before work suggests it's actually pretty cool.

Thank goodness that Quake Arena Arcade is still alive - I was worried that since id never talked about since who knows when that it wasn't coming anymore...

Hopefully they pack tons and tons of maps into this...

Symphony of the Night is arguably the best console Castlevania title. At the very least it was the last good console Castlevania. I highly recommend it.

Good. I never played it. But, how's the port?
 
I've been messing around with Kodu for a little bit. It takes a bit of work to figure out but I managed to program myself a little scooter to drive around and shoot stuff with. Game-sharing isn't enabled yet though the tutorials are quite handy for figuring out how things work.
 
Guh, I can't seem to get the Worms 2 demo to queue up from the web marketplace. I thought they fixed all the marketplace issues by the day after the upgrade.

Small update on the Quake arena screenshot - Actually, all but one of those levels (Arena Gate) are entirely new levels. So there you go :)

A strong brand name gives you +5 in charisma and +10 in sales on XBLA. But there are a few original summer XBLA titles, like the already released Rocket Riot and the upcoming Splosion Man and Shadow Complex.
 
You know...I'm tempted to get 1943. Except I own 1942, Secret Weapons, and Road. I know if I get it for 360, I'll play it. I just don't really want to waste another 1200 points
 
Those battlefield achievements are so easy. Why would they not have a 5000 kill or more achievement since they are trying to encourage the whole community to shoot for 43 million.

Either way.. they looks solid, can not wait for the game.
