OIO - The Game |OT?|

I'm kinda amazed (or search function is nuts), but nobody has talked about this game here on GAF (is Salsa dead?). Seems plausible in the midst of so many great games coming out, but regardless, people should try this.

OIO is an indie puzzler platformer with some interesting and fresh puzzles, with a really great art design. The title starts kinda easy, but the difficulty ramps up around half-way the game.

Unfortunately (and I don't know why actually, since this is the kind of game that fits nicely with DD) the game isn't available on Steam, but it can be found on GamersGate and other more obscure DD services. Can be also be purchased by the developer's website, and oh... it's available for Mac. A demo can also be downloaded from the sources above.

3D Vision users: the game looks stunning in 3D, really Trine-levels of awesomeness.

Picked it up for my current travels for something new to play. Fun and somewhat basic platformer, but plenty of charm in it's visuals that makes me want to finish the game to see all of the levels.

Controls don't feel great, but good enough with momentum.

Really like the growing of plants or whatever they are to build sections to get up with or jump over to. Nothing taxing on the mind, but enough to keep me from zoning out like I can do with just run and jump platformers.

For the price, yeah, I recommend it.
