Like half the girls on OkCupid self-report as bisexual. Usually they're just straight and "bi-curious."

The girls who are mostly lesbian and bi-curious will BE SURE to point that out in their profile, trust me.

Oh that question, yeah I noticed that too after I finished but the 24 hour frame prevented me from switching it up.

I'm still not sure how I feel about OKC in general. I've had nothing but odd conversations or no conversations at all on there. Although, I want to thank everyone who helped me tidy up my profile.

On Tuesday I was on and stumbled on a profile of someone who works at the same place as me. Well, I'm 99.9% sure she does. She lists her location as the same small town, her profile describes her job as having many similarities, and her avatar picture on okcupid is the same as a employee photo in our work-printed "facebook". So I'm pretty sure we have the same employer. I messaged her, said hello and mentioned I think we work at the same place. I haven't heard back yet. I'm thinking this could be pretty awkward/hilarious.

So the girl I was talking to last week that's moving to Vermont for school, invited me to go out and stay a weekend to go ski/snowboard. She's not buying me a ticket or anything so its not quite an Ashodin situation. Maybe if I have no other luck I'll take her up on the offer even though I don't ski or snowboard.

Think I like the new site layout. At least they separated the Quiver/Visitors/Messages notifications into different groups.

Dude I didn't even suggest the plane ticket man. She just brought it up in random conversation. She was like "hmm, money or happiness." And chose the latter. I was like WAT.

Yeah.

I only saw maybe 3 pretty crazy things. A couple were some hardcore porno pics, and then one was a really obvious fake profile but it was pretty well written and funny.

we need more info. Lots of girls use pro photos because they have friends who are in the business and need experience.

If she tells you to go to another website to talk to her, fake. if she needs info no one else would dare ask, fake(date of birth, mothers maiden name, first pets name)

She says she is currently deployed. Won't be back until late February. It just feels fishy. We've only been messaging on okcupid and Yahoo messenger. I want to keep in contact with her because she seems cool and is really pretty. Don't know what to do...

Fake. No one uses Yahoo Messenger and every fake profile/scammer always tells you to message them on Yahoo.

Army. Somewhere in Afghanistan. She sent pictures of herself over there with other soldiers. Only reason why I think it could be legit is she hasn't asked me for anything. She's one of 3 girls I'm talking to. Kinda want to keep her around in case she is real.

do you know anyone that's in the military? old friends or family.

Usually the yahoo messenger is a sign of "fake" because well its the most used by scammers. She might be legit, if shes 1-3 girls then keep her around. I mean you might not even need to because by feb you might have moved on with one of the other two. It cant hurt to keep her around unless she asks for vital information.

Always check timezones also.

im not sure what to make of mine, it's an absolute botch job though i have somehow got messages back from people, people who plan for zombie apocalypses... don't beat the quidditch one though! My aims aren't too serious, met some more women basically, friends or more, do I admit that or that?

quickmatch is the best at being a nice icebreaker. 4 star a cute girl and bam it sends them to your profile. I have gotten more messages from just that then I ever have blind messaging.

i couldnt see a reason to ever give a 5 star, unless you're ego feeding. i have the feeling that a 4 star is the good but not perfect, like i'd never give a video game 10/10 5/5 etc

5 doesn't have to mean perfect. I have seen plenty of girls that are worthy of a 5 star rating. They outclass other girls that I gave a 4 to, deserves a 5.

I only gave I think 3 people 5 stars(minus 5 staring people here) I only give 4s because it has to be 4 or 5s in order to send the person a email. It never tells them what star you gave them, only that you rated them high.

Went out on a 2nd date with someone from OKC last night and I'm not feeling it. She has no filters to what she says and it was irritating. We are going to have lunch soon and it's gonna be the deal breaker on whether or not I'll bother to stay in touch.
