This is my first post in this thread, and I have to say, I enjoyed this!

I'm moving to Japan for about three years in August so I want to watch One Piece to know what's going on (my friends there love it). Is there a site where I can legally watch it?

Share the World is one of the best, probably top 5.

Kaze wo Sagashite is THE worst. Aside from being an obnoxious song, it spoils an entire arc the show doesn't even get to during its run, features a ridiculous dissonance between the perkiness of the song and the actual imagery (YAY! for saluting prison guards is my absolute favorite), and gets all kinds of other things wrong, including several characters' color schemes (including, amazingly enough, Luffy's).

It was so bad that Japanese viewers actually complained to the network.

Share the World had good visuals but the song is total ass.

I tried watching Naruto before. Made it 50 episodes and decided I didn't care. On the flip side here I am more than 400 episodes into OP with no signs of slowing.

There are lots of excellent comics/manga out there.

Nausicaa, Calvin and Hobbes, Pluto, Monster, Little Nemo, Cross Game and all Adachi including Short Program, HxH, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Sandman, Fables, Detective Conan, The Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Daredevil: Born Again, Rurouni Kenshin, Yotsuba&!, Y: The Last Man, School Rumble, Fullmetal Alchemist, Azumanga Daioh, Yu Yu Hakusho, anything by Edward Gorey, Tintin, and on and on.

I recommend them all, but imo One Piece is better than any of them.
