The last time Luffy got a new crew member was seven years ago when Brook joined. It's been so long, and what with all the things they've been through and the time skip and all; I'm not so sure if there's really going to be another crew member. If anyone, it's most likely going to be Bartolomeo and/or Jimbei, 'lest Oda pulls a weird Robin this arc.

Yeah, Law said back on Luffy's ship while they were eating that his crew is waiting on Zou. It's where Kin'emon and Momo were planning on heading before Punk Hazard happened. I think the crew that's currently on the ship(Chopper, Nami, Brook, Sanji(?), Caesar and Momo) are heading there now.
That's right, forgot about that.

I am just about caught up to One Piece in Manga form, and while I have zero interest in actually watching stuff I already read, I do have a bit of curiosity about the anime. I'd be willing to watch a dozen or 2 episodes of stuff I haven't seen- which I guess means I'm looking for good filler. What episodes should I watch?

I'm sure most everyone will disagree with me, but my favourite filler is 220-224.

There's a filler arc after they fell from Skypia G8 I think is the name, its my all time fav filler arc besides the filler of the original FMA anime.

Can't remember exactly how long he was there but iirc Chopper and Nami asked Brownbeard why he loves his master so much, and he told them the whole story of their two saviors, the latter of which was Law who I think he said arrived there two years ago and gave everyone new legs.

Nah. I had used to, but then I managed to get both my brother and sister into One Piece. Now we usually watch together, and I find it more enjoyable to be on the same page as them while watching. I do go back and read the manga stuff afterwards though. Especially since the anime skips all the mini-cover arcs now.

So I guess there's no official dub/sub available of One Piece The Movie 6? Does the Japanese Bluray have english subtitles? I really love the animation style from the clips I've seen, and I'm a huge fan of Mamoru Hosoda's work too. How did you guys receive this movie?
There's no official release. Though Funimation has stated they definitely want to do that one.
Watching Strong World right now, some of the faces look so fucking wonky at times :lol
Also they really go out of their way to put in shots of Nami's ass and boobs.
Edit: enjoyed it quite a bit! What other movies are worth watching? The only other one I've seen is Movie 6 which I thought was great.

Movie 2 and 4 are worth watching (even though the latter recycles Alabasta a bit)
Film Z is definitely worth checking out. It's coming out in a couple months here in the states so wait for the official release.

We already have the manga gaf thread and yes while it sucks that it gets flooded with lewd spam at times its still better then fragmenting things. AoT got its thread only because people wouldn't stop spoiling the manga in he anime thread

Would be nice for a manga thread. I'll always enjoy the redux thread but besides Reddit I just don't enjoy any other OP community sites. A manga thread would be fun!
Well, as long as we don't get threads for the borderline porn/full-on porn then I don't see a problem with turning this into a One Piece manga/general thread.
On another note: They're doing another TV special.
One Piece: 3D2Y. Seems to cover the training during the timeskip.
