If you guys want a One Piece manga thread, it would be best to just go and make one and keep this an amine thread.

That's how things work for Hunter x Hunter. Game of Thrones as well (one thread for the show and another for book talk).

One Piece: 3D2Y. Seems to cover the training during the timeskip.

That sounds pretty cool, any idea if Oda's involved. This seems like the sort of thing he'd be in on.

At least the filler SOUNDS interesting. I look forwardto seeing Luffy, Usopp, Zoro's and most importantly Sanji's training. In fact make a whole mini arc on Sanji's training.

Thriller Bark still impresses me with how well it looks. Wish we could get some of those deep, dark colors back in the anime. Brooks' laugh sounds fantastic as well.

Aw man, always thought about wanting to jump into One Piece, but the large amount of episodes was holding me back.

I finally put that stupid thought aside yesterday and am currently watching the zorro vs hawk eye fight. I fucking love this show already, the filler episodes are also pretty engaging such as the one about Zorro's past.

Zoro must have had the shortest flashback, at least in the manga. I've read all the books between 4-8 times and cannot for the life of me even remember what happened in his past. Something about a girl who wanted to be as strong as Zoro but couldn't because she was a girl. And that's it.

Oh that's right! His flashback is so un-memorable. I remember everyone's flashback entirely but only have these fragments of memory from Zoro's past.

In the manga, Zoro's flashback was told in a few pages in Chapter 5. VERY early on. You can tell it's early since it lacks the impact of later One Piece flashbacks.
Every author has their weird early moments. This was one of them.

In better news, One Piece Season 6 Volume 1 is coming September 30th. Same day as Film Z.
