I can't stand playing the free games where half the table is all in on the first hand. I wanted to play a game for cash every once and a while. I can't see how these sites prevent collusion effectively. I also know there is talk of hacks and such for these sites which bothers me less because I just don't think it is possible with current encryption. So far my only experience is with Party Poker. I just wanted to get the forums input on the best site, being cheated, or things that made you go, hmmmmmm.

It's easy to make tons of money doing bonus whoring on online poker sites. Especially if you do it with an affiliate site like www.pokersourceonline.com. Basically you deposit money at a poker site, play enough to get the sign-up/deposit bonus they give you, withdraw, rinse, lather, repeat.

People do write programs to play poker at these online sites and make $$$. Of course, if their program sucks then they probably lose $$$.

Its not about making money. Sure It'd be cool to win some cash. I just love playing the game and don't always have option to get into a live one. Playing a $20 game here and there would be cool. I just don't want to be thinking "Are these fuckers cheating" the whole time.

Online poker really isn't that fun. It can get pretty boring after a while but there are so many idiots out there, especially on party poker so it's really easy to make money. Cheating really isn't a problem. Collusion is pretty rare and usually detectable if you're paying attention and there really aren't any good poker bots out there, especially if you play no limit.
