Well at least all of my short season minor teams have winning records!
A few of my younger players are finally starting to play well. Maybe we can be decent in a few more seasons! Except Ozzie he's 0 of 32 in his last 20 games.... Dude supposed to be good in real life at least.
Was 3rd in batting average earlier in the season now we're 10th but 1st in the NL in stolen bases!
Owner won't even let me spend 70k for an IFA ):

In the market for a new A's jersey... first thought was to get one for Cash Case.
Then I realized I was thinking about buying a jersey for my 2020 rookie SS in OOTP, not an actual, real A's player today, but a kid who will graduate high school in 2017 and who is 16 years old right now.

How are you doing in the standings? I'd hold off personally, but I don't know exactly how the development algorithm works in game. I read on their forums that bringing a guy up early isn't supposed to cause a huge hit to it, but you never know.
I'd also like to point out that I have like five dudes in the minors named Jorge Martinez. OOTP name generator.

Ummmm, YEAH! Bring that dude up ASAP. Better yet, don't. I'll snatch him in the rule 5 draft next year.
I brought up my AAA catcher this year, who was mysteriously sitting down there even though my scout has him as an 80/80. Dude is a complete monster, and just crushing the ball with the Royals.
In fact, he should be the starting AL catcher, but I doubt any of you showed him love.
Not home to check yet. Is he a BIG WINNER?

My scout found an 80 POT player, it'll be interesting if he actually turns out good. I think this is the first time I found someone above 21 POT.
Yea. I realized I have someone coming down the pipelines graded the the 60s or 70s that my scout found. Feels good to finally get one that way.

With all due respect to David Glass, my owner is a moron. He gives me pretty straight forward pre-season goals, like don't embarrass ourselves too badly, extend a player draft well, increase attendance, etc.
I made a ton of roster moves, promoted dudes, cut dead weight by releasing trash, traded for prospects, went wild on the rule 5 and amateur drafts...and now we're smack dab in the middle of a wild card race.
But the dude is moving those goalposts. He writes me an literally says to keep winning because, "We're well on the way to reaching the postseason, like we discussed earlier." Ummm, mother fucker, you told us not to come out looking too awful. Now he's all playoffs or death.
