At this rate maybe LoU2 PS4 will be a PS5 launch game. Either way do they really need to include something everyone is hyped for and knows is coming anyway?

Nah I think any PS5 trailers would have bigger impact separately to a wider audience... only the people playing TLoU2 would see it and you'd want more people sitting on the fence to see it ASAP to encourage them to go out and pick up a PS5.

I don't know if this is exactly fitting for the mood. Maybe we could get a next-generation Uncharted tease or maybe a stand-alone TLOU2 game similar to the Lost Legacy.
Actually, now that I think about it, maybe they'll do something like "In order to play the beta of the upcoming Factions game, you need to beat The Last of Us 2." So at the end of the credits, it'll be a snippet of that and "congratulation, you have future access."

Trailers after end credits almost always relate to another movie in the same franchise. They function as a teaser for the next episode in the series. Unless this "trailer" is directly related to The Last of Us, it would feel strange tonally, especially following a game that takes its story so seriously.
