Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition Free Giveaway | #SpreadMoreFeels

Just as a reminder, the giveaway ends in a litte under 64 hours (Wed at midnight CST). I'll random.org the winners then, and PMs will be sent to make arrangements within a couple hours of closing to try and get things in order by c.o.b. Thursday.

Watch your inboxes Thursday, early morning!

Wow, lifeexpectancy. You are very generous! Ori is a beautiful game so it is great that more people will be able to experience it (hopefully myself among them :p).

Not in since I already have the game (and will probably buy the upgrade anyway), but thanks again for the giveaway.

great game, very few flaws in the original but i hope they can work it out in the definitive edition. i wasn't sure whether i could enter or not (since i do own the original on steam), but apparently i can:

If you already own Ori and the Blind Forest (original release), then you would receive the paypal funds necessary to purchase the DE, because as I understand it owners of the original will be able to 'upgrade' for less than the purchase price of the full DE. We'll see how that all shakes out, but rest assured I plan on making sure all winners receive the DE in whatever way necessary.

regardless, #SpreadMoreFeels !

Always wanted to try this game but I'm strict in budgeting due to me saving up to move so I often don't find the opportunity to get it as the only games I purchase are ones that I am more familiar with.

I tweeted @OriBlindForest asking about the odds for a collector's edition retail release for the Definitive Edition. Their answer? "Not too shabby".

I'm posting this here because the OT is more or less dormant. I'm cautiously optimistic!! Ok, maybe a little less than cautiously.

Ouch man, sorry to hear that. Ori definitely hits you in the feely bits. My sincerest condolences on your loss, don't know how I'm going to handle it when my mom passes.
Thanks man. You know, being older (I was 31 when she passed) made me feel lucky compared to children who lose a parent. Games were something she and I bonded over though and some great memories were had with her watching me play Zelda and Earthbound.
This game reminded me of those times and actually turned into something that made me smile. My first game on the One and I love it. She would have too

Thanks for the chance to win! #SpreadMoreFeels

I'm really interested in this game, but thanks to a goof with my taxes, I'll be broke for a bit.

Great spreading of gaming culture to fans, would really love to play Ori, I haven't played the first one and I've liked it since I saw the E3 trailer!

Great, now I'm crying. Not your fault of course.
(nearly 6 years and it still hurts when I read similar stuff like this :( )

Just want to express my gratitude to lifeexpectancy for this selfless act. Its incredible when someone can be generous enough to give away free luxury items to complete strangers on the internet but its part of what makes GAF such a fantastic community, we all share a similar interest here and many of us are friends even if we only read each others posts every now and then. I'm extremely grateful to have been one of the six to receive a copy of Ori but even if I didn't win I would still be every bit as thankful. Notions like this are amazing.
