So, here goes.
When the ProClone's lawyer bailed out Sarah, and was Doral (Number 5), was i the only one who was hoping that this was the beginning of a super-secret back-door prequel to Battlestar Galactica? Clones to Cylons is not the craziest stretch I've ever heard in my life.

I mean, I know, I know.
But this won't be the last time we see an actor crossover the two shows, guaranteed.

I guess I'm happy that it isn't because I enjoy my head, and it would surely explode.

Just watched the finale.

This fucking show.

I don't think Helena's dead- magic clone regenerative powers! She got stabbed with 2 feet of rebar and lived.

Marathoned the entire show on Sunday. I had heard just enough from the random TV reading that I do that Patton Oswalt's tweet mentioning it probably pushed me over the edge. I had seen commercials for it before Doctor Who a lot, but (and this happens all the time) the voice over and writing for tv show ads are just horrible. It always reads as cheesy and desperate. I remember seeing Firefly ads when that was first airing and thinking it was stupid. Didn't watch it till 05. And don't get me started on AMC's shitty advertising. Funny enough their best advertisements have been for The Killing which is not a great show.

So anyways yeah wow. This show is great, and as everyone is aware it's in no small part to Tatiana Maslany. Fantastic fucking actor. I feel like it's been a couple years since I was so in love with a show. I mean I love a lot of the acting on the obvious stuff. Breaking Bad, Mad Men etc but this show just excites me every time Maslany is on screen. Which luckily is nearly every scene. I think The Good Wife is the only show that comes close for me. Good luck trying to convince my friends to watch either :)

This show came out of nowhere. Absolutely fantastic. I finished it in 2 days.

Absolutely cannot wait for Season 2.

The finale was cool cause of a few curveballs.

I actually thought they were going to rehabilitate Helena, especially after Kira's "She's not a real monster" line. Nope.

I thought they were going to tone down Allison's story a bit and let her have some married security. I was also convinced that it was either Ainsley or her husband who were her monitor. Nope.

Also did not foresee Mrs. S being involved at all.

I just had the weirdest damn dream.

I was behind the scenes at an Arrested Development episode taping and apparently there was a cameo of Helena dancing and playing a ukulele with some dude in a scene. I ran up and took a picture.

RIP second-best clone

That's about as weird as a teaser for The Bridge.

Finally got around to watching the season finale. Fucking awesome and chock full of twists:

My mind was blown when "Sarah" revealed herself to be Helena and then proceeded to stab Amelia in Beth's house. That totally came out of nowhere for me.

Helena nooooo :( I'll be so disappointed if it turns out that she's really dead. I'm hoping that her regenerative ability kicked in before she died. Then again, her death may be a blessing in disguise. Too much of a good thing and all that.

I also couldn't believe that Allison just stood there and watched Aynesley choke to death over the garbage disposal. For shame Allison!

Btw, anyone know the songs that were playing during the Cosima/Delphine scenes in Felix's apartment? I must have them.

Yeah that was pretty horrible of her. On the other hand, dat exercise outfit. Allison still = best clone. God help Donny if she finds out that he is still monitoring her.

This actually fooled me completely. My fiance pointed out right away that it was Helena and I even said "Neh, I don't think so." Then she stabs the mom... "Well, I guess it is." :lol

That Hip-Hop Abs scene was almost too much for me to handle. Allison is just a fantastic character.

Heh, I'm glad I wasn't the only one! I actually felt stupid because I didn't recognize that it was Helena. It's like my brain registers each clone as being played by a different actress or something, so I literally thought to myself: "How could you not tell that it was a different actress?!" before I remembered that it was the same actress. lol

Some discussion about it here. Sounds like it's either off of the original soundtrack or it might be this song?

:3 Thanks! That's just what I was looking for.

Definitely a nice touch with those signatures. She must be having a lot of fun with this. Exhausted too, but still fun.

There was an episode a few back that didn't have Allison in it, and for a second, I actually thought, "I guess they didn't get that actress for this episode." before I caught myself.

Hah, I thought Sarah looked "off" when she spoke to Amelia, but it didn't occur to me that it was Helena until she stabbed her, hah.

No other show has hinged so heavily on one actor than this one.

Solid finale, sublime season. What's going to happen next? Has the police investigation been completely halted by higher powers? Methinks Art is going to be doing some personal snooping.

- Some Tatiana Maslany on this week's EW podcast
Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany called in to EW Radio before the BBC America clone drama’s season finale to chat with Jessica Shaw and me about playing seven different distinctive characters — often in the same scene. What was her audition like? Which clone is her favorite to play? What music does she listen to in order to get in the mood for each character? And which clone is most like the actress herself? Fans of the show will definitely want to check out our chat with Tatiana.

- TV.com: Interview With a Chameleon: Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany
We're not even halfway through 2013 and the race for breakout performance of the year is already over. Tatiana Maslany treated us to an acting clinic in the first season of BBC America's Orphan Black, a smart, taut science-fiction thriller about shady corporations, religious zealots, and murder investigations... as well well as suburban life, a mother-daughter relationship, and a brainy scientist doing research. That description makes the show sound disparate and confusing, but Maslany glues it all together, masterfully keeping things in order while playing seven (!) different roles as a set of clones.

And the real Maslany is a delight, as I learned when I got on the horn with the Canadian actress to talk about how she endures such a demanding job and the events of last weekend's Season 1 finale.

So there's 2 clones left that havent been shown right? Or are the ones that haven't been shown yet supposed to be dead?

The writers said there's still an unknown number of (alive) clones out there that we don't know about yet.

Yeah I don't remember anything about a specific number. I assumed we'd continue to get introduced to new clones as the series progresses.

edit: also something I was just thinking about this show, normally we'll see a series where it's just impossible for them to kill off certain characters because we know the actor 'makes' a show. It's very possible they could kill off anyone at any time, which is a pretty great freedom to have.

Yeah for just a second in the finale I thought they were going to kill off Sarah...but then they killed off Helena instead.

Well at least it delivered by not making Sarah the original or something and then having to go down some weird path later on. She still is the main 'clone', but at least I won't have to roll my eyes because everything she does is because 'she is the original' and some crazy nonsense.

Going off the mid-show commercials, any buzz on In the Flesh or Broadchurch?

I saw Broadchurch. It's good, but mainly because of the acting from David Tennant, Olivia Colman (who's a great comedic actress as well as dramatic) and the other mains. The writing is about as mediocre as it gets. Also, it's a great looking show.

Those season 2 spoilers are brutal. I hope GRRM doesn't do the same thing for Game of Thrones. I'll stab someone in the eye until the blade pops out the back of their skull if he does that.

What are you talking about? What spoilers? Could you link to em?

edit: Do you mean the joke pic?
