finally finished season 1. Really like the show. Only reason I watched it was I kept seeing it being bumped on GAF and it airs along Dr Who

i'm so captivated by the character that it never occurred to me of main character being on a single frame. When she is, I never noticed that its one person.

Finally caught up with the finale. Holy crap. Now that's how you end a season.

First off...

FUCK YOU, DONNIE. You're ratting out on a goddess like that?

FUCK YOU, ALLISON. You destroyed an innocent woman's life and let her die.

FUCK YOU, PROCLONE. Bitch.

FUCK YOU, LEAKIE. Bitch.

Man, what a good fucking episode.

Trevor Yuile, the composer for Orphan Black uploaded the music suite that plays over the montage during the finale.

Sweet. Really dig the music in this series.

Wow, and with that competition:

Claire Danes (Homeland)
Vera Farmiga (Bates Motel)
Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife)
Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men)
Keri Russell (The Americans)

Awesome for her.

All of the voting bodies have their biases and leanings. It's just sort of the way it works. At this point, I celebrate the wins and don't get too worked up about the numerous snubs.

Copper (another BBCA production) was added onto netflix so that's a good precedence.

Many BBC shows seem to appear quickly after the DVDs are out. Not sure what the deal with Copper was, but it did go up a few weeks before Season 2 started, so that's always nice.

Something that's been bothering me about the premiere: What was the odds that both Beth and Sarah would be at the same place and the same time so she could assume her identity? I mean, that seems to be a fairly huge coincidence. Is there a reason they're both there?

(Bypassing the last half of the season of Justified for now to power through Orphan Black)

It's just a coincidence.

Yeah that was totally Kelly Library. The show is filmed in Toronto and the GTA, though they never really explicitly say it even though they pretty much name drop obvious GTA-isms.

depends on the city size. I think that's less of a coincidence than the fact that 4 of them happen to be living in the same city that's somewhat small sized unless there's more than 20 clones in existence. So far it just seems that there's been roughly one in each european country so far and then a bunch in that city.

there's as many as needed for the purposes of plot.
