I just caught up. Very endearing episode and a good way to start the season. I'm surprised by how little I care about the whole conspiracy part of the show, but I appreciate that it looks like the writers are going to explain what's the deal with patenting humans, which seems like the most insane thing they could ever pull as long as keeping the suspension of disbelief goes. I also loved that Cosima's Beta Buddy made another appearance.
Keep being
ackward awesome, dude.
Fe + Alison continue to steal the best lines (I smell lesbians in my bed/What the dickens gave me a genuine belly laugh IRL) and Cosima was cute as a button. That little hand wave at Ramon...
I'm past 30 and crushing like a teenager. Too damn cute, sapphic inclinations and all.
I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed Sarah's part and
even more shocked by Rachel. Tat played Corporate Megabitch with mature aplomb, only lacking a twirly moustache, which made even more interesting how quickly she BTFO as soon as Sarah pulled her gun. Other shows would try to portray her as an impervious hardass, but you can tell she's *terrified* of actual violence like the one she's more than willing to dish out. Here's hoping we see a lot more of her.
As for Helena... TBH, I was a bit let down. I would have preferred if she remained dead or they reintroduced her much later as a surprise, but she's always incredibly enjoyable in her own twisted way ("excuse me, my sestra shot me"), so I won't complain too much. I just wish I didn't read some spoiler that ruined the surprise for me. Oh well.
Honorable lols to Big Dick Paul for not enjoying Sarah hitting him in his pretty face and to this cheeky little twit:
Things Paul didn't do during hiatus: more acting classes
Cold and mean.
He's not
that bad in Arrow... but then again he shares his scenes with Katie Cassidy...
We will get Orphan Black numbers today, but they haven't put out a press release yet. I'm so curious.
EDIT: BOOM!!!!
Nice. Well deserved. I expect a big drop, but who knows with the kind of crazy following it has developed over time.
