I never said she wasn't interesting. She's very interesting, but I'm not going to forget about what she's done already.

So, you just don't like her as a person? Out of all of the people, she's the one who's been taken the most out of her element and reacts the most impulsively. She means well, but her world has spiraled out of control, more than Cosima or Sarah.

I don't view what Alison has done as being malicious. There should be sympathy for what circumstances she has been thrust into. That's not an excuse, but how the character has been portrayed in this show.

Yeah, pretty much. She may mean well, but that doesn't cut it for me. Also, some of her world spiraling out of control is because of decisions she has made imo.

What decisions, though? I think it's very hard to blame her for anything that's happened. Even Aynsley's death made sense when Alison was convinced that Aynsley was her handler. So was I, as the viewer.

She doesn't always make the "right" choice, but from her point of view, I understand the impulses she has. It's hard not to be sympathetic. I don't really know what you mean by "that doesn't cut it", because she does mean well. Characters aren't going to make 100% logical and rational choices at all points, because people do. In those moments and instances, I understand what Alison is doing and why she is doing it, even if the decision isn't the best in the long-term.

Alison is one friend and one contract too late.

Parts of my theory is come true.

Her not knowing who she is means the lady in the pic is either a clone or identical sister of Mrs. S. That or she's lying through her teeth. If the former, she's talking to her genetic daughter or blood niece.

Take your pick

Fucking Angie.

I honestly want more with her. In the first season we only get a few glimpses of how much she gets off on morgues and the dirtier parts cop work. So far she's working for the good guys, but I could see her selling out t one of the bad factions if Art keeps being short with information for her.

Tatiana needs to win awards after this episode.

The way she plays Allison is so different than the rest of the clones. I'm so impressed.

My god...

The scene between Cosima and Rachel is fucking fantastic when you remember that it's the same fucking actress...

Just started this. I like Beth/Sarah the most. Alison is fantastic as well. I love that soccermom shit. The science one is my least favorite, but she's still pretty awesome.

Some tour de force acting going on.

Tread lightly in this thread, especially now after an episode airing.

Tatiana continues to amaze on the hit BBC America series Orphan Black.

Also,

Allison - "I killed Aynsley!"

Felix - "Aynsley wore a scarf in the kitchen!"

lol

This is such a great show. I started binge watching it yesterday and caught up in time for the new episode last night. It sucks having to wait for the next episode now :(

If it serves of anything, it gets further explained in the following episodes and goes considerably deeper right at the start of the second season. The conspiracy part of the show wasn't that great up to the end of the first season, but I think it's improving considerably.

You're right, the conspiracy stuff does get a lot better as the show goes on. I'm glad I kept watching.

Whenever a game uses "middleware," I expect mediocrity. Just see how poor TLOU looks.
maybe I'm forgetting if this was explained in season 1, but you know how Sarah is "special" as she has a biological child? Ummmmmmm... so how does Allison have 2 kids? Are they adopted? And does she know they aren't hers (if that's the case)?
