this guy got in that is a wGuess that means "Fuck you Brigitte Bardot", eh.
A disgrace to leave her out of the In Memoriam segment.
In a way, it getting a bunch of nominations and then not winning any is a very Marty Supreme result.Yeah, Marty Supreme robbed. Could've had best original screenplay at least.
In the grand scheme of things award shows don't really mean a huge amount. But where they can be useful is highlighting films for people to check out. So if you have been a bit out of touch with films recently then those shortlists can be good guides to go by.Don't think I've seen a single nominated movie apart from F1 once it was available for streaming. I'm so out of it when it comes to staying up to date with releases and so on, it's a disgrace. the only two movies I know are coming are Oddyssey and Dune part 3 for this year that I want to see in the cinema. Oppenheimer was my last visit.
People were gaslighting themselves? And doing it over a movie?Sinners was never great but the way people try to gaslight me and themselves into thinking this movie is absolutely incredible is hilarious.
Michael B. Jordan best actor, best screenplay, best cinematography, get the fuck outta here.
I thought he gave a good performance but Chalamet's in Marty Supreme was much better and I probably would have put DiCaprio, Moura and Hawke ahead of him too. I guess the twin gimmick worked in his favour.I must have watched a different movie or have poor taste, because I certainly didn't see MBJ doing anything amazing in Sinners that is worthy of best actor.
I couldn't tell his two characters apart. They looked the same and behaved the same - that's not exactly an acting masterclass.I must have watched a different movie or have poor taste, because I certainly didn't see MBJ doing anything amazing in Sinners that is worthy of best actor.
I also love how the "best picture" is a movie that completely bombed at the box office and lost the studio like 100 million dollars.
What are we even doing here?

This year's award for world's best burger goes to the Big Mac.Exactly. Zootopia 2 or Avatar Fire and Ash should have won best film.

Now an Oscar winning song, bet you feel dumb for dropping K-Pop Demon Hunters and letting Netflix grab it up huh Sony?
It doesnt get better don't waste your time.I'll try to watch One Battle again sometime again i guess. I found it so insufferable that i don't think i even made it 20 minutes.

It's 2/3 of a great film. The first act is genuinely pretty hard to watch, which is a problem when your film is about 3 hours long, and the bad part is probably the first 50 minutes.I'll try to watch One Battle again sometime again i guess. Absurd, they all do a great job and ejae is perfect, hitting a couple of high notes perfectly with an a5 in golden and an incredible d6 in how it's doneLol at the k-pop song getting the oscar. The singers who sung it can't carry a note, like listening to a chalkboard.
"Best" and "most popular" often diverge.I also love how the "best picture" is a movie that completely bombed at the box office and lost the studio like 100 million dollars.
