I am 37W / 17L with Torb. He is an easy win on defense maps. On hybrids, I will use him for the first checkpoint and switch to something else for the escort part.

I was kinda cooling off overwatch for some reason. But then I realized I just wasn't playing enough Tracer. I kind of fell into the habit of only playing tracer on koth, but now I am playing her again on every map, both sides. Had a 70% winrate tonight with her, and a 4.2 KDA. And I didn't want to stop playing again.
Even picked up a few random friend invites.

... so, why didn't anyone tell me how much fun Tracer is? Holy shit.
She was one of the first heroes I tried some 20+ hours ago. And she was squishy, zipping around didn't seem to really matter, and her ult seemed weak. A few rounds, and I left her... never to return until tonight.
Decided I'd give her a go after five losses in a row... and holy shit. After a few games, the groove I got into. It was like a rhythm. Zip in. Empty clip, enemy turns, I zip past while reloading, as they're turning empty clip, zip past again, reload, kill enemy... time it right, and you have another teleportation ready, and you zip away.
You can wreck absolute havock on a team if you can just stay alive. I didn't get oodles of kills, but I was an utter nuisance to the enemy that my comrades were able to push payload or come to point.
Just... so much fun.
Or that "oh shit, Lucio just blew me off the map" but not to worry, I rewind time and I'm back in it.
Probably the most "flow" I've had with a character outside of Lucio. She plays a lot like him, surprisingly - so I shouldn't be surprised that I like her.

I wish there were a decent way to kill them besides flashbang (and that they couldn't rewind on seeing the flashbang animation).I finally tried playing Roadhog today. He's fun but the 600 HP goes away almost instantly. Feels weirdly squishy.
I reached level 40 and have only had 1 legendary skin. I FINALLY got past 1000 coins so I could buy one though.
The 500 unit ones are great man. That's half of a legendary that you actually want (or a bunch of voice lines and stuff). The alternative is getting a legendary skin taht sucks or is for a hero you never play. I'll take the currency every time!

As for RH. You have to hook and get a kill. If you aren't taking too much damage wait for a second hook. If you are hurt dip and heal. His E heals for 300 and really helps you to stay in the fight.
She can instantly dash/rewind the Roadhog hook and ignore Winston though, as far as I know...unless Winston has some CC I don't know about.

The flashbang is a click to win button against tracer unless you're slow with fan the hammer. Tracer has to work for her kills, there's no reason she should be easier to kill. She is one of the heroes where the game doesn't play for you.
Just having a Winston with the rest of the team makes her job a lot harder though. Every time she pokes in she'll be taking damage and if she makes a mistake she is dead

Just bought this game today, I was only going to play it for half an hour. That was about 3 hours ago. I suck at it but it's way too much fun.

Definitely can't escape a RH hook, assuming the guy knows how to play, if you get hooked you're done. Tracer's biggest threats are McCree and Roadhog by far.
Winston isn't really an issue for Tracer, I'd argue Tracer is an issue for Winston.

Roadhog will always be able to at least shoot before Tracer can rewind. But you better believe it, if you miss or fail to 1hk, a good tracer is going to rewind every time.
Here is a tip for roadhog, holding the left click will always shoot the earliest possible moment, therefore you will never have a tracer rewind on you if you hit her hard enough.
And for tracers, holding E does the same thing, assuming you don't instantly die, you will recall the earliest possible moment.
The ball always starts in the roadhogs court though.
Against winston.... tracer I feel is really favored. I just kite the monkey all day and sometimes let him think he is gonna get a kill and then rewind. Then you ult and gg. Same deal with roadhog, but roadhog actually can kill you with hook. Sometimes long enough engagements lead to 2 hook chances.
A great tracer will not often die to a mccree. They basically have to catch the tracer off guard with flashbang or get really lucky with fan hits. I think tracer's biggest threats are widowmaker and hanzo with good aim. Soldier with good aim too I suppose. Same with junkrat.

Roadhog is an absolute beast with that HP if you know when to take cover. Thanks to his self heal (which does 300 IIRC) you can tank through things like Reaper's ult just fine if it catches you off guard.
When it comes to Tracer always use your alt fire before hooking her so she's already low on health when you hook her. Also do this to bait out Reaper's wraith form and Mei's self freeze before hooking.
I've heard that you should be pressing forward as RH as well because he can move a little bit which won't help with tracer but means you'll be able to shoot/melee combo other heroes easier.

That shouldn't really be necessary ever tbh. Because as roadhog you should always follow up with a melee hit anyway. Primary fire + melee at the same time. True versus reaper and higher hp targets though, because that could make a big difference.
Maybe true. I don't think I've had that problem with tracers ever since they buffed RH to pull small targets closer to him.
If They use their abilities as soon as they are possibly able too then they'll activate before your melee hits, or at least that's what's been happening to me.

No problem, though do bear in mind that I've only played on PC for around 2-3 hours, and 80 hours on PS4. I play the PC version sometimes when at a friends. I would buy it if I had a better PC, and play both. Though I probably get on better with the PS4 version due to my background as a largely console gamer.
