Why is this game referred to as "white white blue white"?
She will, Roadhog does more damage than her HP but even if a few pellets miss it's a no kill, which is easy considering his hook is unreliable and will bring the enemies to the side instead of the front a lot.
A 150HP would also nicely balance out her close quarter surviveblitywith that submachine gun and grapple, since Geji can take her out with his combo reliably.
A backline character with a sniper having higher the same health as frontline character like Pharah makes no sense.

I agree. I haven't played Widowmaker but Hanzo (who serves a similar purpose after all) and my ass was on the point even when there was a few enemies around.
This is one of the worst parts about the game I've seen so far - people ignoring the objective and going out to get kills. I had a game on Hanamura where we had 3 Widowmakers on attack (!). And all of them were terrible too.
A friend of mine didn't open his loot boxes up until he reached the late 30s or 40s, and then he only opened them cause the people he grouped with and the people in his chat pressured him about it haha.
Loot boxes give you four items, most of rarity White, White, Blue, White(typically in this order). White being the most common and blue just a step above.
It just hurts cause we all want the shiny legendary stuff. Which drops as the color orange/gold.

I haven't got any legendary or even epic skins yet, but I did get 2 skins out of 4 boxes.
And one of them was for the character I plan to main (Symmetra, plus it's the pretty yellow recolour), so I can't complain. I've been playing non-stop since I got my new computer.
I have about an hour played as a handful of heroes... and then 12 hours as Mei.
I feel like I should branch out and try to get better at some other heroes, but I just have too much fun learning how to play as her.
Maybe I should pick a hero in each category and spend my time with them.

And here I am, played for 50h total and have yet to use Mei.
My Melee is mouse 5, it works well that way.

That's what I did, yeah. Picked Reaper for Assault, Hanzo for Defense, Reinhardt for Tank and Lucio for support. That way I always have someone I like playing to fill a hole in a team.
Still end up playing Lucio a disproportionate amount of the time though, lol

Its the best way to learn on the job
In quick play things are set in stone with classes being used by certain players, + if trying to learn class there would be rough if you keep getting countered
So in Weekly Brawl, there's so much leeway
Stats don't get hit, xp still there, learn on the job so to speak
It's either M4 or 5 but I have the same. Feels more natural since I have a thumb resting on the buttons there ready to melee on the spot.

Crazy how this game goes... last two days I've probably had my best games since beta, just monster games. Had a 36-2 game with Tracer.
Then today.... had a 1 elimination, 12 death game. Worst game including beta. Lots of bad today.
Loving the game still, will be hard to beat for my GOTY. Enjoying playing with everyone from here!

I got three white white blue white in a row yesterday.
So what does everyone think needs to happen to widowmaker to make her less absurd?
I personally think these changes would be fine:
-Increase time to scope (A sniper shouldn't be able to basically quick scope in this game)
-Increase charge time
-Readjust damage scaling to be lower across the board
?Maybe reduce active time on ult
The point of these changes are to make the player have each shot count, make it to where she can't wipe most of the team in 10 seconds, and make her fairly more stationary. These changes would also help out hanzo because he would become the more mobile sniper

Coming from Smite and having experience playing Ymir, I think that of all the things I do as Mei, my wall placement is probably the best. x)
I have trouble aiming her icicle well, since it takes so long to fire and travel, and I constantly forget about the heal.

Supports often have that issue, not only in Overwatch. People are very quick to shit on them if they perform poorly, even if that poor performance isn't even their fault. It was one of the reasons why I started specifically not healing people as Medic back when I was playing TF2, I got really spiteful. :V

Go play Destiny, where items don't drop when you want them to, and items are far more meaningful.
I get it though. The loot drops don't really mean anything to me however. It's just not why I play the game. This game is so fun that lack of loot drops doesn't deter me in any sense.
You should be able to make a new line and input your info. It should not be locked, I am on mobile atm so I can't check easily.

Every star is 100 levels. So one star and level 5 means they're actually Level 105.

Not really, I've had a time where I threw up a wall trying to split a team up and put it up too close, immediately canceled it and people freaked the fuck out. No one wasted ultimates, no one died or missed kills. People just like to bitch. The Mei player isn't a psychic, they don't know you're about to use an ult and maybe they're about to die so they wall things off to get away.
The game doesn't revolve around you getting your play of the game.

I think you missed it, it's not the quantity/quality of drops. When you open a crate, the most common pattern is literally white white blue white in that order. That's it.
Over level 100.
Same. I feel like everyone else feels similar but we all like complaining about bad drops though.
Those are the best walls.I had this yesterday
She is one of those heroes you can use against your own team...
