My only one was at the beginning of season 1. Was in a team of mid 50s against bunch of 75s who were at the time in the top 20s who stream on twitch and use keyboard and mouse on ps4 so obviously we were going to lose. Managed to get sudden death but we lost got a message saying "you kids suck". Sent him a knack sticker.

Yep, it was the former, & it's the reason why I lost my cool. Every match was a case of going against a barrage of heavy damage dealing teams, so not only were the matches lasted longer than they had any right to be, but my teammates got stomped in some form. We will do fine and win the first two rounds, but then the tables will turn and the opposing team will wreck our shit.

And it's hard to be happy if this will be a reflection of how the next season will turn out for me. Especially as I've been trying to not let things be a repeat for Season One for me.

when you are facing those kinds of odds I would suggest not playing Lucio as backline, but instead annoying/Tracker-like (LOL, I do this w/ D.Va) and force the enemy team to focus on you instead of the rest of your team, and that way your allies get some relief + hopefully pick up the slack? But yeah, sometimes it's just a losing battle, because a lot of peeps are just using PTR/QP to get their head around characters they don't usually play. I've been in games where peeps will go a certain character and say on mic 'I'm just trying to get used to ________, so don't expect too much!' and it's like whatever. LOL

i would honestly try to group up w/ either GAFfers or friend competent players you've played with/against and try and build a ride or die group for S2 ranked.

all that said a good Lucio can turn the tide of a game especially in KotH. I was in a game at lijiang tower where we steam-rolled the enemy team through the first round, someone on their side left, and a new player joined... Lucio. It was hard fought, but we lost spectacularly. T__T

I'm not sure if I'm missing some obvious sarcasm, but pro overwatch is boring as hell. There's zero variety or strategy, it's the most streamlined shit ever. I'm glad nobody plays like that.

A healer makes or breaks a team, which is why I always go with Lucio, as I know I can provide healing and getting my team out of sticky situations. (The number of times I had helped them escape with Lucio's speed boost had saved their bacon more times than I can count, even if I get caught in the blast.) And no one during my time in Season 1 had picked the healers, so I felt obligated to do so, or else we would get destroyed.

Hopefully with the new patch the meta wouldn't be as samey. Problem right now is that discord and speedboost really railroad things onto a narrow path. Both are now pretty toned down. Speedboost severely so.

no, I'm not saying stop playing Lucio! In fact keep on keepin' on! What I am saying is you are an active member of the 6-person team. You can effect change. If whatever play you've been using for Lucio isn't working, change it up a bit? If you are playing backline, switch to a more active Tracer-like style of play. If you are already playing a more active role and that's not working, then try hanging in the back a bit more, etc. If you are good at not dying, then why not play a bit more risky/in your face w/ Lucio, really fuck with the enemy team? LOL

Yeah I remember a game today where I was Zenyatta and Pharah would go out of her way to go after me and I'd put discord orb on her but the Soldier 76 and McCree weren't even remotely concerned about the easy target in the air. I just stopped playing Zenyatta altogether as no one was protecting me.

so now I just need to work on getting the physics assets to behave as such (so McCree's cloak, Symmetra's dress etc)
