Also his turret still feels like it's made of paper, so it feels like while yes, you can snowball defense with armour packs, I feel like it's real easy for people to just steamroll through before he can set things up. He feels like a non-factor against teams that know how to play against him.
Get the standard edition. Origins just comes with skins. You can get better skins from playing. Also comes with stuff for other games by Blizzard.
If you press the "extend" button it basically takes you to the Origins edition pages, I it allows those who already have the base game to upgrade to the Origins edition. Basically Origins edition is the special edition with some extra skins for in-game and also some additional items to use in other Blizzard games, hope this helps.
o Hell no, the Origins Bastion is the best Bastion.
They can buff his turret damage by 30% on console again, because that was fucking OP as shit.
I don't think there's really a way to make him viable on PC.

Bought the game and when I launch the battle.net application it says I'm supposed to buy the game if I wanna play it. It won't connect me to the in-app store either as it seems to be down.

edit: Downloaded the client off the battle.net page and when I try to install it says I gotta choose a language. However, I cannot choose any language. Same problem as this guy.

It's not really about him being good. It's about shields place and how it works with armor
I think it was more the fact that nobody ever played Support on PS4 when the game first came out.
You were lucky if you got a Lucio, and if you did, he wouldn't use Amp it Up, but at least you were getting that 2hp/s or whatever it is.
When do you ever use Bastion anyway?

I dunno man, I still feel like with the teamfight oriented nature of this game, if you even have 1 teammate not being a factor at all it kinda goes to shit anyway. Like 150 extra health is nice but most ults are able to work through that easily. It just takes one good ult combo for most teams to take the point in my experience. The 75 shields can delay them quite a bit which makes it worth it but I don't think I've ever seen her as super-dominant.
Shit didn't matter when zarya lands the perfect graviton and dva launches a nuke at you.

Looks a little more stupid than it is. I installed Battle.net a few months ago for HotS and created a new folder called "Heroes of the Storm" on F:/. It's basically the folder for Battle.net games. Inside of it is the real HotS folder.
Installing the latest Battle.net version worked out by the way. Looking forward to playing the game.
Nah, the drop in bullet arc makes his shot feel really rewarding when u hit dem sweet headshots.Torb's turret could use some HP buff or something, but his gun is fine. U can build up ur ult so quickly with LMB.

That's how I feel. There's often no middle ground when I play Torb on defense -- either I hold the offense back tremendously, or they repeatedly blow my shit up in like 2 seconds and I feel useless the whole match.

Played against Kephrii in QP on his stream.
We won, though. He backfilled.

He backfilled, so I switched to D.Va on Hanamura B defense to keep knocking him back off the ledge through the window.
Did you get the beating of him? You should post the vod later if it's available. Me and Caesar ran into a potential Nevix smurf based on the name and his 14% crit rate with mccree. Probably wasn't him but he was really good either way.
Yeah, you could just tell he was 4k+ from how he aimed and moved. Most crees panic when genji gets in their face, deffo one of the measures of a good McCree.
How did you make it to diamond without knowing that that's the standard starting position on defense for that map?
The initial hill is not for you to contest directly since it is very heavily in the attackers' favor in terms of spawns and only slightly advantageous for defenders in terms of positioning.

I always like Bastion on defense as a last ditch effort to holding them back if they're close to the finish. Like on Hollywood for example. The enemy team almost got to the last point, but I switched to Bastion, took the stairs up and dropped down behind the enemy team when they were going in for the last push. Easy cleanup if u time it right.
I do agree though if the other team has a Genji who knows what he's doing, it's better to just switch to a more useful hero. Although if u manage to hold them off from the first point on a payload map, it can be fun to surprise the other team with a Bastion + Reinhardt pick and just sit on the payload to get to the first point easily.

His gun does a shitton of damage. Primary fire is the same damage as McCree, without the damage falloff.

Heh, nothing like backcapping a team that's pushed too far up. Rolled Reaper in Mystery Heroes on Attack and was waiting for my opening on the left balcony when our Widow hits her ult and I realize... wait, there's nobody even close to the point. We had already gotten it to 2/3, so even though their D.Va realized I was doing it, it was too late for her to stop me. Had to laugh at that one.
