Because in order for a game to run at 240 FPS on a console it would have to look like a PS2 game.

DmC does not look like a PS2 game. DmC runs at over 200 fps on a modest modern PC.

I find it totally feasible that the new hardware could run current gen IQ at 240fps. I wouldn't doubt if if some source told him this was the case.

3D. SSDHD was updated to run at 720p120, so you technically get 60FPS 3D.

It's been a while since I've followed LCDs so can someone tell me if there are even any displays that have a native, not interpolated, 240Hz refresh rate aside from the Sharp Elite? If not, then there's only one $10,000 TV that could even display that framerate.
