You should see the German version of Final Fantasy IV DS. The entire logo is shrunk and shoved into the corner to fit the rating in, which is about the same size as the logo. Someone in the pick up trend had a photo of it, I think.

It's perfectly clear, no? Parents who didn't give a flying fuck before the ratings were perfectly readable will obviously pay attention now that they are even more perfectly readable. And the politicians involved look like they actually got some shit done for once. After all, video games endanger the children's development, like, REAL BAD. It's not poverty, social isolation, or plain bad parenting and any of those 'real problems', you know?

Oh, and someone else pointed it out a few days ago, but do you see how the numbers in the Pegi ratings are still bigger? Yeah, that's right.

I tried finding it in a German online shop first, but I stumbled upon something better. The red text in the description says: "English version WITHOUT ugly USK-Label[...]" :lol Ah, has it come this far... At least they sell both the German and the UK-Version.

And lets not froget Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise which is called Viva Pinata DS in Germany because otherwise the USK logo would have covered the title.

The stupid thing is, on the small version of that rating, the text isn't even readable other than the age. All they need to do with it is something like this (quick photoshop ahoy!):

Takes up just a little bit more space than the Pegi rating and has the text under the age. If it wasn't a diamond they could make far more compact and it wouldn't clash with everything so much.

I saw it, and then I ordered it from England right away. Same with Dragon Quest IV. I wanted to buy it, held it in my hand and just couldn't do that to my Dragon Quest. Oh well, it was cheaper that way anyways. :lol

Our logos are fuck awesome and fits snugly in the corner. The German one doesn't fit nicely anywhere and takes up way more space.

That's not the real German box. Some parents complained about the USK button being too small to protect their children from the violence in the game, so they redesigned it.
