Every 4-5 years when it coincides with new motherboard architecture generation which usually means an entire new PC.I was wondering because usually I do it every 2 years.

CPU not GPU lolI bought my 3080ti in 2020.
Before that I had a 1070 that I also bought on its launch date, May 2016.
My plan was to skip the 4000 series and buy a 5070/5080 four years in (apparently they are getting announced this January) but it turns out that now that we are close I don't really see the urgence, since my GPU is still serving me very well.
Maybe I'll change my mind in few months or maybe I'll wait two more years for the 6000 series this time.
Damn.CPU not GPU lol

When im bottlenecked by it.....or when new motherboard features show up.
So pretty rarely.
I had my 2500K for an ungodly amount of time.
But needed DDR4.
When DDR5 dropped I got a 12400 as a stop-gap till RaptorLake........then the 12400 is still holding on so imma hold on to it till........Intel makes a good architecture.
You guys clean your PC?i dont even clean my pc that often
