Nah, it's like when you fall asleep reading. You can't remember the last few pages you read.

I could see the dialogue, comprehend the words, recognise when I'd read it all and when it was time to push X, but not commit any of it to memory.

I do remember blacking out a few times during the boss battles, and wishing there was a replay option to see what attacks the enemy made while I was out, but I can't remember WHY it was so important to know what the boss did last.

It's a miracle managed to get the Vita back in the dock.

I've been stuck on this bastard for a god damn week now. I kept insisting on trying to beat the dungeon in a day, but I simply couldn't do it without leaving and selling my 3094832 materials and getting equipment to replace most of my starting ones. Doesn't help that I'm locked to level 14 for Yu, Chie and Yosuke unless I do excessive grinding, which I'm not a fan of. Ended winning once I fused an Eligor so that casting Tarunda on the boss + Eligor would make me Swift Strike not destroy me every time. Good grief.

The other day I commented about how frantic I was when Nanako was kidnapped and how I rushed to save her. Last night, I got to the part where she dies and I remember this thread where 9thwonder was saying that he wished she actually did die. I thought I was being set up by gaf. There I was the other day criticizing 9thwonder for wishing her dead and now Im looking at my screen where she actually was dead? So sad. So confused. The last time I felt this shitty in a game was after a certain moment in Valkyria Chronicles.

But shes back. Shes talking. Shes ok so far. FUCK.
I didnt have misty eyes when she came back. Seriously! Ok, I did :*(

And Adachi can go screw himself. I did not see that coming at all. When they lay out the facts like that and present you with the list of names....damn.
The bit during the car crash where he says "Well...its settled then". I COMPLETELY missed it. Oh my god. Mind thoroughly fucked. I love it.

Finished the game. The new version of the true ending is so much better. Really glad I maxed out all the social links the first time through, amusing to see a certain someone near the end.

Also the epilogue and the new credits, Damn...I often wondered if I made a mistake getting a Vita, but this game, if it was the say the last game played on it, I'd be okay with that. Purchase justified. That amazing to me even now.

There's an option to tell her that she's going to get fat, and I'm dying to see what that does, but I don't want it to affect my S.Link with her. Usually it's between Social Link 7-9, you make a choice of touching/hugging/saying "you're my GF" instead of just standing around or running away, lol.

It's usually pretty obvious (Except for Fortune, which requires like 3 specific choices in earlier S. Links that I can't remember off-hand), the game says "the moment is becoming serious" or something to that notion.

Stand there.

Sort of. They've rewritten the dialogue during the everyone cheers you on section so it addresses the player a bit better instead of saying, "No, don't die * insert player name here". Also, now ALL of the Social links are fully voiced when they try to cheer you on, Adachi shows up which I thought was really funny, and I did like how Marie showed up too since she's the original Izanami trying to help the Protagonist defeat her "Shadow self"

Plus the farewell makes reference to her not showing up and Adachi's case going a lot smoother than normal (Though that might have been in vanilla, don't remember) and all of your classmate social links show up fully voiced too.

I guess I just really appreciate everything being fully voiced now and the incorporation of the new social links.

Really? I'm going to have go back and watch it now. I hadn't even realised.

EDIT: I think the script is the same for them (Maybe some minor changes? It looks the same from what I saw yesterday though), but I hadn't even realised it wasn't voiced before. Genuinely, a big improvement. Very cool.

After about 13 hours, I beat the 1st Dungeon secret boss today, and finished mid-terms. I'm not sure how I did, but I got my knowledge up to Expert before the test, so that's probably pretty good right?

Yeaaahhh, finally got a Vita! Planning to platinum this game, so I'm gonna play nothing, but this for the next couple weeks. :3

fucking be careful. you almost have to use a guide for at least one playthrough to get all the books, some of the requirements are really esoteric. I THINK you can play the game straight the first time, and then clean up on trophies on the second playthrough alone as long as you do it right. plus, you'll carry over compendium, and unlocked weapons, so it'll be much easier; just cruise on through!

related: my most favorite feature of the NG+ is the difficulty granularity. holy crap what a revelation. I wanted it harder on NG+ so I lowered damage taken by my guys, but that early Last Resort die is such bullshit I kept my damage taking at normal until I leveled out a bit. plus turning on the money boost makes you RICH AS A MOTHERFUCKER, which takes all the frustration out of summoning from the compendium. hey? some of your party members falling behind? fucking turn on EXP boost and do a second run of a dungeon and BAM now everybody's viable. everything's just so convenient where you want it to be, but you can also make it chew your balls if you want. lovely.
