One of the best things about playing through P4 for the first time is I'll finally be able to listen to the Persona 4 soundtrack disc in my Persona Compilation boxed set.
Mainly got it for the P3(P) soundtracks. Didn't want to spoil the music in 4, so haven't listened it it!

I'll Face Myself is P4.
I just had a look at the track list, and it's really solid. There's virtually every notable track from P3, FES, 4 and Portable. The only interesting Portable track you're missing is the Way of Life remix, and that doesn't actually play in the game anyway.

But you need to stop making me want to buy Persona gear. Like seriously. I'm getting Soejima's design works, but now my brain wants more.
If you're looking to buy one of the soundtracks, I recommend Persona 4 Reincarnation. Full version of the theme song and battle song, orchestral remix of the boss theme and AMAZO mix of Specialist.
It's really good.

I love the soundtrack for all the games, though the Persona 2 soundtrack is much larger, and has a ton of tracks that don't sound too good outside of the game. Still, I have them all on my iPod, and they make for a great listen while out for a walk.

I, for example, like the Persona 4 Arena soundtrack quite a lot. Someone who does not like it at all, is in this very topic, wonder who that could be hah. P2 Soundtrack is very good, but the remixes are hit and miss.
Smt 1, smt3, dds. I'm very much into playing soul hackers when its translated.
To me, the persona games have a nicely put together package but they are an absolute chore to play. I feel like I never get anywhere. I put 20 hours into p3 and felt like I wasted my time because the story barely started. I have a very similar experience with 4.

I see. No SMT2? How come? Megaten is a cool thing because it encompasses so many different styles, it is obvious not every game will appeal to everyone. I wish SMT4 got a more big budget release though, makes me sad.

Anyway, I think the P2 remix OST is decent enough. The boss remix is excellent, for example, as is Maya's theme.

The problem with that is the remixes and arranges that are not in the actual games are the best ones for some dumb reason.
For IS or EP?
Because I'm talking about IS. EP's soundtrack sticks way too close to the original for me, and I find it really boring. Sad to say it's the only Persona soundtrack that I haven't bought.

Damn, my package is like 10 miles away, but it looks like it got there too late to be out for delivery today. Oh well. Not again. they dropped the ball big time for a lot of us on Ragnarok a couple weeks ago.
I couldn't take the chance of it arriving after thanksgiving so I cancelled my order and going digital.
I'm hoping Grace Chen posts on the blog "Hey all, PSN update is Monday. Here's Persona 4 Golden, i'm going to eat some turkey. Grace Chen Time out!"
