Persona 5 |OT2| Someone must have been helping you go to bed early. Talk!

Dungeon 7 seems pretty good for grinding the status ailment ones at the very least, there's lots of enemies who do the full group status ailment abilities.

I'm on my way to the final dungeon and that trophy still hasn't popped, I'm starting to get worried because I'm also super overleveled.

That trophy gave me nightmares in P4G, I had to use an excel sheet to keep track of it on new game plus.

That's the scariest trophy for me. I hope I unlock it easy.
Just make sure you use
Akechi
a lot.

Also don't bother using accessories that block status ailments.

And let enemies ambush you from time to time.

I unlocked it at the 6th Palace boss fight myself.

I unlocked the ability to make a persona cause of my confidant rank with someone. I have to make it before NG+ to avoid having to do the relevant link again, right?

Yeah I've been super overlevelled in NG+ also. It's why I went to the trouble of doing some grinding for the lines, I feared I wasn't going to get it.

Fortunately it seems there's a decent amount of leeway.

Ugh, I'm worried about the Futaba lines trophy. I'm in the 7th palace, and I haven't switched party members or been hit by status ailments much outside of boss battles. I think I have a lot of Mementos grinding ahead of me.

On the scale from 1-10, how hard is the plat trophy for this game? I rarely go for platinum, but this one is just special.
I only have 1 trophy left, but I'd give it a 2 or 3.

Nothing is hard, especially since difficulty doesn't matter.

Everything just takes time.

I hadn't changed my party after Futaba joined at all outside of trying palace 5 and 6's new members, and all it took was like 7 Mementos fights with the members I had been neglecting. Really quick and easy.

Finished up Palace 4 last night, really enjoyed it and the surrounding story bits. Now to spend most of August bumming around trying to boost my charm and working towards Mementos requests.

Almighty damage absolutely wrecks the second palace boss. Skipped the second phase because of pure damage.
I killed the first boss in less than a turn on NG+. They had to put a barrier on his health to make sure that cutscene where you decide to send someone to take the crown plays out lol.

Ok I need advice.

Kamoshida was kicking my ass. So I had to return to 1 week earlier.

Do I just need to grind for exp and get my levels higher and unlock the good abilities like heal all party members and descrease enemy attack? Because I didn't have those and was struggling.

No spoilers or easy answers please. Just tell me if I'm on the right track.

When in doubt, level increases don't hurt.

Fuse better personas
Upgrade your armor at the shop (armor is always higher priority then weapons)

Unless you're on hard if you fought most things on the way to the boss your level shouldn't be an issue

Spells that decrease enemy attack are highly beneficial in any boss fight. Make sure to use guard if he targets a specific player. Also look into fusing a Persona that has a resistance or is outright immune to physical attacks. Having a persona like that as well as attack debuff will help you throughout the game in a major way.

Thanks. I've totally neglected armour so that might do the trick. I am on hard, I want to feel like I'm playing SMT3 lol

Prioritize armor that maximizes your evasion over pure defense and weapons that maximize your accuracy. You want to avoid hits/not miss as much as possible in this game.

Apparently Hifumi was supposed to be a party member that makes strategies and was cut, sucks if true because she would have been waaay better than Haru.

Considering I heard she was cut due to the game being too long with her, I imagine we'd still have Haru anyway.

Either way, Haru's problem is that she doesn't get enough development time in the main story. When she gets introduced, the main story has finally got going, and it just takes all the screen time away from her.

Hifumi would have likely had the same issue.

They could've cut out everything after the 4th Palace to before the 6th Palace all together in the story and I think it would've been for the better.

Perhaps someone can help me clarify with Sadayo's (Teacher) Confidant
When Takase's parents threatened her at the school about telling the faculty office about her stint as a "sex worker" was that them just deducing based on the amount of money pulling in?
A maid job should hardly be considered as a "sex worker".

It's pretty heavily implied that
there's certain "services" Kawakami provides as a maid that she deliberately withholds from offering to the protag.

Are you saying that those
maids in Japan are anything but escorts
?

Im actually asking, I dont know. I was shocked to find out that the
maid cafe
is a real thing for example.

I just beat the game on hard mode. Yes that first boss required a little bit of grinding for me lol. You seem to have the right idea so I wont spell it out.

For what its worth I didnt have to grind at all after that until the very very very end of ths game. So dont get discouraged and go kick that boss' ass. Skills matter more than stats yo.

Finished Yoshida's confidant
Really liked that he knows the MC is phantom thief. It was one of my favourite stories, I am a bit sad to finish it

NG+ boss down. I'm so overleveled for the next dungeon.

Got the materials for the last tools as well. So the platinum trophy is close.

S-so, what are the other services Becky provides?

Are you joke asking or actually mechanically asking?

If its the later, she can make curry or coffee for you and it doesnt use time, so your laundry also without using time and the most OP thing, give you a
massage so you can use evenings after doing palaces or mementos
.

All you need is better armor.

That boss is crazy easy despite how hard it seems, it's basically just enduring his attacks until he's vulnerable and you can do insane damage. It's pretty scripted.

She can make infiltration tools, too.

From what I know of maid cafes based on anime and some TV dramas lol...they're not escorts in the traditional sense that give you sex straight up. It's more like a fetish thing, there's many maid cafes in Akihabara that appeal to the otaku. It is similar I guess to hostess bars that help salarymen wind down after working 80+ hour work weeks. Again this is all conjecture from watching Youtube videos, anime, Japanese dramas, etc. In fact the whole maid coming to your house to clean up your room isn't something I'm all too familiar with.

She's actually accused of being a sex worker at some point, to which she doesn't deny anything.

What are the other "services."

Well, when you romance her she says she'll give you a massage /wherever you want/
to which you reply something lame like "I want you to rely on me"

Is there any point to asking the demons for money in the final dungeon or should I just go for an all-out attack?
Does the money carry over to NG+, will I be able to buy some items before the final boss? Etc.

So I just finished HZD and am just about to start my first playthrough of Persona 5. Would you guys recommend going with the Japanese or English audio? The only persona I played was P4G with English audio and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Also, any must know tips before I start?

English dub is fantastic. The one tip? Don't follow a guide. Go freely, mess things up, but be free and happy.
