Feel like I have had a fairly productive arc after the 4th palace. I have 4 maxed links now (Ann, Ryuji, Takemi, Kawakami) and Chihaya up to the point where she can do slinks for me. All my stats are level 4 now except Kindness which I don't immediately need for anything.

If my understanding is correct, you only get the big stat bonuses from the Big Bang Challenge once after beating it the first time? I think I can do the highest level now, but I'm expecting I can't repeat it over and over for +3 Knowledge, Proficiency, and Charm every time.

Holy shit, what a ride. Also, can I do this just like I've been doing up until now, by clearing the Palace and boss ASAP then spending the rest of the time however, or will it be like P4 where beating the boss jumps ahead to the deadline?

You can do things after completing Palace 7 and before the deadline, it won't skip ahead.

What's the most ideal luck stat to do confuse Mementos boss farming? I just tested my Persona I'm using who has 35 luck and usually I'd just get an item one turn and then the next turn nothing, followed by confuse ending. Also, is there any specific mementos request that people use for this method?

Futaba's request for Kaya's parents net a nice chunk of change and comes late enough that you can strengthen persona up to a high luck with Confuse Boost and good the best confusion skills. Focus on the succubus for the fight as the incubus has no money.

Sandman is pretty much the best persona if you want to grind out a high luck persona.

Nothing more annoying than when you Confuse a Mementos boss and he/she keeps tossing out items instead of money. I just lose patience and kill them. lol

Lol yeah thats pretty annoying. I try to stick with it though. Although when they get multiple times getting hit by confuse and don't drop yen I am very tempted to smack them around a bit

I found the reaper more manageable than in p3 but maybe I remember wrong, I was on hard and I think I was level 67, I lost a couple of time while tuning the strategy but I found a very reliable one in the end.

Obviously a persona without weaknesses and immune to hama and mudo goes a long way, with buffs and debuffs it really struggle to kill anyone outside of spamming hamaon and mudoon, the only problem is in fact the instakill spam, if he kills the party it can be hard for joker to keep up but tetraja covers for that really damn well.

Edit: forgot the most important part, patience, at the level I was the damage wasn't great, even with charge hassou tobi and Ann and Ryuji with concentrate and charge it took a while.

Ugh. I did a Shiki Ouji for null phys and his natural luck isn't that good. How do you suggest going about doing a null sleep and null phys on sandman? I guess the succubus only uses a fire spell if you are already asleep. When I was testing yesterday all her sleep casts missed

You can max Star well before that date, at least on NG+. I think by that point I was finishing up the later game social links.

Hm, I may have screwed up my Sandman. I don't think I have it on him. Damn. Wonder if I'll have to build a new one if I want it. I don't have the DLC so I might try using gallow on the other people you mentioned.

Maybe you played so well that you never got ambushed. The feature kicks in when you get surrounded by the enemy and one of them hit weakness on one of your guys.

I think she had gotten use to using the maid personality around him and it is what brought them together in the first place that she kept interjecting it into the conversations. While 2/14 she is way more sincere, probably because once he moves back home they can be more open about their relationship (no conflict of interest), I think some of it still is there as part of the maid fetish. That bit about you doing some "work" for her tho had me rolling.

I think you can get it too in regular battles if one of your allies gets knocked down from weakness. It's easier to trigger it if the enemies are higher level than you or you get ambushed.

I find that getting surrounded is the easiest way to trigger the hostage thing. Had to do it for the Futaba and online rescue trophy lol.

This is actually exactly my experience -- beat him at 67 on Hard with the same setup: MC spamming Tetraja with Ryuji and Ann for damage and Makoto for healing. I had one frustrating death where he used Mamudoon twice in the same turn and killed my MC. Fight ended up taking like 45 minutes or something because you're constantly on the defensive.

Futaba remotely hacked the cell phone to launch the metaverse app while Sae was holding it and Akechi was nearby. This caused them both to briefly enter the metaverse near Sae's palace. However, the cognitive version of the Police Station interrigation room was far enough away from the "casino" that there were no distortions, so both locations looked identical. Since both Sae and Akechi would expect Joker to be sitting in the Interrogation Room, this resulted in a cognitive duplicate of him to be sitting there.

Yeah, the fight can obviously be pretty easy and quick if you use Yoshitsune/DLC/highly optimized personas, but I didn't use any of those. I did use Debilitate in my MC's spare turns when I didn't need to use Tetraja.

He's a Persona that's been broken ever since P4.

Not only can you use him against the reaper, but he's one of the main tools used to make the NG+ exclusive fight easier.
