Actually he has two little slanty things on his turtleneck and (I think?) badge. Which suggests a second year, not a third year/senior.
Protagonist: I goddamn love the P5 protagonist.
I went into P5 thinking he'd be a rather meek guy (to contrast with Yu), but he ended up being this super cool, ultra confident thief with a ridiculous amount of charisma. I love how has 2 markedly different Personas (his "daily" and his "phantom" Persona) and his design is amazing. Really, probably has my current favorite design in the series. I'm expecting great things from him. (Also he's voiced by Jun Fukuyama? Ace)

Anne: I really like her. She's cute, but not *too* cute. That catsuit is amazing, and did you see that wire of hers? Really cute and cool. Also most likely american? I'm really interested in seeing what she's like.
Ryuji: I don't know why people constantly compare him to Yosuke/Junpei. I mean, aside from the magician thing. This guy seems like he's got waaaaaaay more confidence than those 2 guys. I like his design, but his personality will make or break him for me. (Please no retreads!)
Morgana: I was dreading the inevitable mascot character, but Morgana seems great. Cats are great, and I really want to know what her deal is!

Yup, Social Links are called "Community" in the Japanese version.
It is very safe to assume that "Cooperation" is somehow a new version of Social Links, especially because it's prominent on the menu where Social Links/Community used to be.
Yeah pretty much.
That and there is no way Atlus gets rid of it. Social Links play a pretty big role in the Persona games. They might change it up a bit but no way they ever get rid of it.

I was just about to say the perception of an older cast probably comes from the more realistically proportioned models. You could always tell how deformed the P3/P4 characters were in comparison to the other PS2 SMT characters but it's very stark when compared to what we've seen of P5.
Speaking of which, I'm glad they're taking advantage of the improved graphics with more dynamic camera angles. Should be a big help in distracting you from the fact you're just mashing through text boxes.

Actually that first image is from Scooby Doo Mystery Inc, which was based on Persona 2 Innocent Sin.

I'm assuming it'll be similar to Catherine. I don't expect the game to be fully voiced with conversations flowing more naturally than they did in previous games, but maybe I'm keeping my hopes too low.
I thought it was six months after the end of Persona 4...

Protagonist: My favorite protag design by far, also seems to have a more interesting personality than either of the previous protags and I'm hoping that shows in dialogue choices.
Anne: Seem's like she'll be fairly energetic but I'm not really sure what else to take from the trailer.
Ryuji: I think I'm going to really like Ryuji. He looks like he's going to be laid back especially compared to Anne, his weapons of choice also seem to be a pipe and a shotgun which is fantastic.
Morgana: I don't think we saw her speak at all during the trailer, I'm guessing if she does speak it will be when she's in her persona mode (which would explain why she is in her persona mode at the cafe). Interested to see where they go with this character, also cats are pretty great.

It's partially that, partially the aliens, partially the ancient mesoamerican mythos fitting into it, partially the emphasis on planetary alignments, partially how the series ends.

Everyone keeps saying platforming but I don't see it. It looks like automated sequences where the character jumps at certain points from one to the next or spots where he can jump down/up that are predetermined.

I think another girll / guy enjoy the party in some point of the history , we are missing a characther ... 5 chairs in the teaser ... 5 characters i think.
I cant see party so small in a Persona game , or they can do they like in Persona 1 the five member changes like the story goes....
Not sure if this is any better then what you have now, but it doesn't have the red border as much and the top left part where you filled it in, is a little more cleaned up.
EDIT: actually, I see your version is a bit more filled in with the red like by the scarf. So it actually looks better. This was just an extra that wasn't being used afterall. So it's okay. You have an amazing avatar.

I wonder if we'll have a navigator character in the game, so far nothing seems to indicate that fact but it'd be weird to cut that role.
We got 5.
Maybe Tanuki girl since we don't see her in action.
Tanuki traits...
- a hat to be ready to protect against trouble or bad weather;
- big eyes to perceive the environment and help make good decisions;
- a sake bottle that represents virtue;
- a big tail that provides steadiness and strength until success is achieved;

So, are we speculating that maybe MC has a split personality? Like maybe compared to past Persona's, he actually turns into his shadow self when fighting at night?
Only problem with that theory, is that in all the shots with him as the Phantom, he looks 100% normal (no glowing eyes). So that's def not shadow. And yet, his personality and overall look is such a drastic shift from what he normally looks like. I'm going to be super curious about this MC and his personality now.

Aw thanks. it's still a good cleanup work there, but yeah, I like the red glow on mine.

Well, if it's only 4/5 characters, it's possible that instead of navigator the characters will just talk to each other.
But given how much Japan loves voice acting and how they literally sold navigator DLC packs for PQ, I can't imagine the position being removed.

That was my first thought, I just find it weird that they didn't show her at all in the trailer outside of that opening little montage especially since that cat character isn't in that opening montage.

And that's right with all the hype i miss the Navigator role member... but i was thinking this is a SMT game (No navigator at all) but i seems likely this 5 member is our Nav.

I'd truly be shocked if we only have 5 party members period the 4 playable we saw and a navigator. If anything I think we're hung up on the whole 5 chairs thing being a literal representation of 5 playable characters when in reality they may have put 5 chairs because they were teasing Persona 5

In reality a navigator member fits the burglar high tech planning like a glove. Wouldn't surprise me he/she appears further in the game when they try bigger heists
