Shadow Chie never sucked. She could do stuff like that before 2.0.

EDIT: Huh. Seems those complaints about Shadow!Characters being bad fighters was overblown.
Other tourney viable Shadows pre-2.0? Shadow Naoto, Shadow Mitsuru, Shadow Yu and Shadow Yosuke.
Not really, aside from those exceptions, pre-2.0 Shadows were usually worse than their counterparts. It's just that the 2.0 video featuring Chie isn't an indication of that, since that's stuff she could do in 1.0 onwards anyways.

I think outside of a few characters though, the shadows were considered to be worse than their normal counterparts. I think the 'good' shadows are considered better because they make very good use of the shadow rampage mechanic (Chie and Mitsuru get tons of damage off of a combo, Naoto can deal decent unburstable damage that removes all fate counters and leaves the enemy with aliments, Yosuke can go into unblockable setups that lead into pretty high damage combos, I'm guessing that Yu can chain his specials together to force the enemy to guess a lot on block and then confirm into a pretty good combo).
In 2.0 the shadows are getting buffed, I heard from others that shadows may mostly be better than their normal counterparts.
I could be wrong though, I'm not exactly a pro or anything.

Atlus has such a good booth location, right in front of the west hall with the big 3. You can't miss it, and everyone seemed to like watching the dancing. P5 is literally the first thing you see when you walk in.

Apparently, the site for Atlus USA was hacked to display an advertisement for a site called AliExpress. When visiting the site today, I got a notification from avast! and Malwarebytes and my connection to the site was reset.
This was not on the site before, and I'm pretty sure that Atlus USA does not display advertisements on their site. It opens using a link called "googleframe.net" (Do not copy this link, as this is used for adware/spam ads on WordPress that someone injects to the site. Here's info on that: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/a-new-window-with-spam-pops-up-whenever-you-click-any-link) which is usually used for ads, and then opens a pop-up window. What this means is that someone or something injected adware into the Atlus USA site, either by a plugin or something else. I don't mean staff at Atlus did it. I mean someone online with malicious intentions did this to the site.
Here's proof:
I hope someone fixes the site, as this is pretty serious. Happens on mobile, too. I recommend no one visits the site until it's fixed, as this could infect your PC.

It's "Veins of the earth" when translated directly, I'm not sure if it's a Buddhism thing since Feng Shui mentions it pretty frequently too.
I guess used in a video game's concept it relates to the flow of magic within the earth or something?

That could be it. Feng Shui is an element in P2 too, with all the Wang Long fortune telling stuff. The reader uses twelve dragons to determine a person's future.
Not sure if that's real or not.

My favorite is still that ambient electro track played in the very first teaser.
If the PV1 song is representative of the general sound of P5 like the way the trumpets were a big part of P4, I'll be really happy. It was a catchy little tune.
I cant wait for more Meguro music , but i really want to know who is going to be "the voice of Persona 5" the singer like Kawamura o Hirata.....
I got this hunch is going to be Shuhei Kita (the guy who sings the P3P and trinity soul openings) but at the same time ... i want a girl in the vocals.
Hope the new trailer got a "vocal" track and not some instrumental.
I want to hear the Battle Theme and Main Opening soon. They are such an important part of setting the mood for these games.

I think we've heard the main opening. It was in sync with the visuals.
At least the instrumental version.
And to be honest i dont love it ... i like it , but i dont know i expected something diferent for the opening i guess.
But the same thing happens with the instrumental of Break Out of .. (Ultimax OP) with the instrumental i was like "sounds cool ... i guess" and with the vocal theme was " OH GOD I LOVE THIS SHIT" and actually is one of my favorite songs in the series so far.
Yeah, I'm sure that's a taste, but I want the full effect ASAP. Instrumentals of the OPs have such a different feel.

There's always the chance that someone will break street date, but it's unlikely that we'll get it before Wednesday.

I've always found it wierd that PV02 is likely going to be revealed to the general public by random people uploading it to the internet and not by something oficial of Atlus themselves.
