On the one hand, this would mean that they would likely localize Persona 5 into French, Italian, German and Spanish as they did the same for Catherine. On the other hand: 2016.

Both of these things make sense, though. If they actually are going to localise it into all those languages. I know they don't dub the games into all these EU languages, but the text alone should be enough work to kinda warrant it spilling over into 2016 for EU at least.

Stiill better than P4A anyhow. Though obviously I wish there was more info concerning the EU release.

Amazon error: Koch Media is the comapy that publishes the Square Enix's games and Capcom's in Europe.
They published Catherine in Europe too but as Deep Silver wich is a brand of Koch Media.

but square enix themself did publish persona 4 and i think also 3 in europe.

So, living in the UK, that's a wait until 2016 to play a game that's already in English. Urgh.

At least I'll have Xenoblade to keep me busy.

2016 for Europe or no, I'm importing the Persona 5 NA version as soon as I can.

I'll only have Star Wars: Battlefront to occupy my time until P5, and I imagine that I'll be putting it down pretty fast unless it really surprises me.

Regarding that Amazon Spain post;

This is clearly the most placeholder thing I've seen in a long time. I would not take 31st December 2016 as a date AT ALL.

Plus, for English speaking Europeans, just import the US version. The game will almost certainly be region free, so why wait until 2035 when you can get it nearly instantly, or actually instantly if you get it digitally.

For me, there are two reasons to get the European version:

- The last time I imported from North America, customs flagged my package and held on to it for a while. It was a terrible experience because they wouldn't tell me if I'd get taxed or how much longer it would remain there.

- Supporting the European releases and the publishing partner that brings the game to Europe. It's the best way to show there is demand for these games in Europe.

But, of course, if Atlus handled their European releases better, no one would feel the need to import in the first place.

These amazon listings are starting to sound promising. Maybe we get some news on the localisation soon after PV2?

Could still just be meaningless placeholder listings too of course, but that Amazon UK one is definitely new, I checked earlier today when the Spanish one showed up, and it wasn't there then.

Watch PV2 has the worldwide release date.

I personally didn't have any customs issues with Ultimax, I think it depends on who you buy it from. I know some people get fucked with customs on nearly every purchase.

Still, no customs on a digital download.

I understand the whole 'support the European games industry' thing, but I'm impatient and want it when everyone else gets it.

That's why for DAN I've said that if the EU release isn't less than 2 weeks after US, I'm just going to import and not bother with any of the dlc.

If it comes out in time, I will probably get all the dlc available.

I've never been hit by customs ordering from VGPlus, but Play Aisa and Japanese sites tend to be a lottery. So yeah, seems to be retailer dependent. VGPlus is much faster anyway.

Yup, VGPlus is who I used and had no issues whatsoever. Think it got here in less than a week with no customs.

Being a European Persona fan is suffering. Nobody else knows what's that weird Japanese series that you're into before you take it upon yourself to explain it to them.

I met with John at E3 this year, and he told me that Persona 5 is coming out tomorrow, it's going to be the first game to utilize Morpheus, and that, in the spirit of FF7, we're getting full 3D remakes of Persona 1 and 2 this fall. All of this information is completely true*.

Oh, also, Teddie dancing on the show floor is the greatest thing I've probably ever seen, and I hate myself for not taking a video of it.

Second best thing on the floor, this sign:

I'm sure he wasn't too happy about the kiss part.

Really ??? All the videos i see of people dancing in E3 i always the poor Teddie not busting a move at all and having problems to move (i know be inside that suit and dance is REALLY hard).

But damn after see the p4 Visualive one and Persona Music Live one i kinda disappointed , but besides that the dance are hilarious i think i see a guy making the "gangam style" meanwhile "specialist" sounds ... priceless.

-------

Seems today update from Atlus in DAN was a interview with Kuma and i suppose one of the artist of the remixes ...

No surprise the intro dont was released this week , seems they released the openings days before the game launch date , so i can see this one come in glory HD the 22th -23 th in a earliest scenario.

PD : Man if the Persona 5 trailer leaks the same day the P4 Dan intro is released i cant control all the hype only thinking about it.

My body is ready.

Anyone who's played Persona 2: I'm in the Science Lab trying to find a demon who will give me the rumor that Rasputin has the Fuse Box Key, but every single demon I contact tells me they have no info and give me money instead. I've tried every single demon multiple times and none of them are giving me the rumor. What should I do?

Are you asking them for info, or for a rumor? And I assume you mean EP? Or IS?

Is there a flag I'm supposed to activate first? Do I need to find a specific item or something?

I've been at this for three hours and my characters have leveled up seven times each.

You must be missing something. Possibly an earlier rumor demon, though I have no clue. You picked the boring route. :p

Try the GameFAQs board. There's a few topics there, someone's bound to know.

Is that how that works? This is the first time I ever contracted a demon for anything other than Free Tarot cards.

That's kind of what makes it adorable, it's a little tough to move in the suit, so teddie just flails his arms and bounces. I feel for the person in the costume, but I love them because it's endlessly adorable.

It could be, I always hunt down the rumor demons.

Turns out there is a flag for it. I had to open the last door to the boss, then double back and chat with demons. I have the rumor now.

I'm beginning to remember why I can never bring myself to beat this game.

You're making mad progress, and I'm sure the story has your interest.

Oh, absolutely. Maya and co. have already displaced P4's characters as my absolute favourite cast in SMT, Kaneko's artwork and character designs is at the absolute apex of his career, the soundtrack is amazing and the story stands out as unique even in the golden age of RPGs that was the late 90's.

It's just that the game has some baffingly awful design choices that fester through nearly every aspect. The interface is clunky, the fights are boring and last too long, the game is ridiculously bad at explaining its mechanics and you're basically lost without a guide, and the biggest draw of the game, having dozens of Personae that can be freely swapped out at any time, giving you precise control over your team members' abilities and letting you switch strategies on the fly, is bogged down by ranking Personae up, having to learn new fusion spells, and the general hassle of knowing which Persona is worth using. The huge amount of freedom that the game gives you is let down by its shoddy implementation.

I don't know how much EP-Portable fixed, but I imagine it at least acknowledged some of those problems.
