I'm being a little pedantic, but the Soul Hackers news is actually a few weeks old: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/01/07/atlus-bringing-best-collection-budget-line-nintendo-3ds/, although that tweet is the first mention of it by Atlus.

Definitely. It's not super meaty or anything, but they do mention a lot of really interesting stuff in the space they have (in my opinion). I'm getting the CE for Midsummer Knight's Dream too because I think it'll be worth it.

Ah... I must have missed that one. Then yeah, this is technically old (the P4G The Best version had also surfaced a while before its official announcement).

Do you think that this means anything, though? Maybe it really is just a coincidence, but I have to wonder why they had to pick this specific time frame for the re-releases of P4G and DS:SH, heh.

I think it's just a coincidence, both games released very close to each other in Japan (June 14th 2012 for Golden, August 30th 2012 for Soul Hackers), so it makes sense that they'd be announced for a reprint together. I expect SMT IV to get one at some point in the future too.

Yeah, taking more time to think about it, you're probably right. Like you say, P4G and SH 3DS came out just a few months apart from each other, during the same year, so these re-release timings work out.

Damn, and I was totally hoping for something more, too.

Neat. Definitely noticed (and appreciated) the shift to Makoto. It's gonna be sweet seeing that character growth pay off in the final movie. If I had the cash to spare, i'd try to get my hands on that booklet myself. I've always been an information fiend.

Since the new 3DS was announced the other day I have been thinking that it was finally time to get a 3DS again for Persona Q Majora's Mask. The only problem is have no money so I would have to trade something in. Gamestop is having a deal where they give me $100 for my PS Vita. Do you guys think it's worth it? The only games I want to play on my Vita are PSP games and PS1 games plus I have Persona 4 but I beat that twice.

Not sure why, but I heard that we weren't the only publisher to have a date removed from the PSX keynote. FWIW, we publicly announced 2015 in the press release that went out after the keynote finished.

b-b-b-but Dancing...All Night... I don't envy that choice. I enjoy both systems a lot, but I guess if you don't have a PS4 and don't care about upcoming Vita releases, that may be your best option :(

Do you have any interest in playing Persona 4 Dancing All Night? Because if you do, you should hold on to your Vita.

Alternatively, you can give your Vita to me.

Well, if you haven't played Gravity Rush and Danganronpa, those are things to consider. 3DS has a significantly better library.

Back with an update on my status on Persona 4 Golden!

So I recently beat Rise's shadow
and Teddy's.

I then proceeded to max out Yukiko's Social Link (as well as the support status with my character Robin, hehe).

Days later after that, the next "story arc" appears to be starting (I.e. somebody else shows up on the Midnight Channel). But before that, I was called to the Velvet Room where Igor mentioned something about branching paths, or something along those lines.

So is this the point of the game where the decisions I make from now on start to affect the outcome of the plot? I remember reading that that's not the case until December (or November, IIRC) and I just wanted to be sure before I continued.

That aside though, I wanted to talk about
Teddy's human form. I...honestly don't know how to feel about that. Like, it feels like making Mickey Mouse or Bugs Bunny human. It kinda ruins the mascot aspect. Like...it's not BAD, but it feels really distracting seeing that character design and saying "Hey! That's Teddie!"

But I digress. It doesn't ruin the game in any way and I've still been enjoying Persona 4 a lot.

I actually prefer his human form. I don't like mascots. And he is fabulous. XD

No. You're safe until like, November-December area. Igor's letting you fuse more than 2 Personas at a time, that's all.
