wow the mclaren f1......hott....hopefully in forza 2 or something they have all the different models that were out.

anyways this game looks gorgeous, definitely makes me think the difference between the xbox 360 and ps3 won't be so bad, unlike some other games.

the pressure is on....Gran Turismo 5 will look ridiculous if it doesn't feature all the popular exotics like the mclaren, ferrari, porsche, lambo. Well maybe im overexaggerating, but with the kind of treatment M$ and Bizarre are offering, I'm pretty much spoiled now.

IMO, any racing game without an online system as extensive as PGR3 is going to be inferior.

The extremes to which this game goes to melt scoreboards and ghost cars into the game is scary. As soon as you finish a race, your ranked on a WW board. Simply selecting and track your prompted with a table of leaders. Gothem TV is something else too.

I havent had this much fun with a racer since Rallisport Challenge 2.

I cant stand simulations like Forza and GT games

:lol it wasnt on purpose. when I actually watched the replay theres space between the cars when your car starts to spin. its just hard to race that close together in this game without one car going nuts and wrecking.

No, it isn't. There is a completely different render for the photomode, with AA and everything. In-game render has crap (or no) AA on car models, they look a bit jaggy. When you do a picture, it is re-rendered with AA.

The only difference is that PhotoMode is really rendered at 720p (instead 600p) and has 4xMSAA. That's all, but is rendered in real time.

Actually, if you notice it, the motion blur is much more precise after taking a photo, than in the "preview" mode...

It's true yes. But I'm quite sure PGR4 (or Forza 2) will have a rendering quality very similar to this in realtime.

i have the canon S1 IS and iirc just used the portrait setting. i think the key is to be in a completely dark room. play around with how much space you have visible outside of the tv image, as that can effect the cameras picture. also, for some pics, you may want to "lock in" the auto focus on different parts of the picture to get the best results.

for example;

for this pic, you notice that i left quite a bit of edge outside of the tvs image and because it has a relatively bright area in it, i "locked in" the picture while focusing on a darker spot (i believe the road in the bottom right corner). if you dont do this, the image will be washed out from the brightness.

Op1vy is still in limbo, but i figured instead of sitting on my thumbs untill they figure out the issue, i'd just start from scratch with a new profile (LoopOfHenle). hopefully i can get them to compensate me, as well as refunding me the month of Op1vy that i've paid and have been unable to play.

i added some people to my friends list that i remembered their gamertag, and sent an invite to "BudMaster", but never heard a response. i know your GT is something along those lines

the detail in this city especially is crazy. lots of shit i would have never noticed, all very detailed.
