Phantom Blade Zero The Return Of Pang Town RTX Gameplay

It looks better than Black Myth on all fronts except for the enemy variety and enemy visual design tbh.
Damn now I wish Game Science, S-Game and Leenzee would do a game together using Game Science's enemy design, S-Game's combat and Leenzee's level design.
Graphic is not on the level of wukong aswell imo.

Still impressive, yotei wish looked and played like this one...

In another topic they called stellar blade and hd2 sony first parties aswell.

Maybe with sony being woke af we can call these games party-fluid?

This was the last game Mr. Shu greenlit before leaving and XDEV helped out in development, too. Not to the extent of Stellar Blade, but some kind of contribution they had.

I have at least one other front BMW is going to be very difficult to beat : storytelling
We don't know much at all about phantom blade story, but it doesn't seem staggeringly original. For all its flaws (mainly you will have a hard time understanding why stuff is happening if you are not familiar with Journey to the West), BMW is a tremendously well told story, in that obscur from software type story telling.

Anyway im sold on this one since the year of the snake and the seven stars boss fight, can't wait for this one to release
I actually think they could've done storytelling a lot better. The Journey of the West so rich in lore, I expected better ngl.

Both go kinda toe to toe when it comes to visual fidelity. Phantom Blade looks crisper and has less visual artifacts from what I can see and remember, but BMW definitely takes the cake in art direction.

it was always archaic, clunky and too retarded. You can't even jump in combat in most of them, ffs.
I wouldn't say it was always archaic, as timing and hit box accuracy is done very well in From Soft games. It's just I can't do the simple combat system anymore. It has evolved so much in the last couple of years. I was always more of a Team Ninja fan when it came to combat though.
What made the From Soft games truly fun for me were the many secrets we could find and its level design. But other games are inching closer and may have even surpassed it on some instances.

I played wukong on pc so it didn't had most of the problems of the console version.

I love contextual animations and using enemies' own weapons against them. I hope there are like 2-3 variations of contextual finishers per enemy type, though. Otherwise the mechanic is just for trailers and will get old quick when you're playing the game.

Anyways, the hit feedback could use some work, but the combat is shaping up nicely.
