Here's my latest physicals which I've gotten this past week:

Both games have interior box art so that's dope!

I just hope that's in the interior of the NA version of Emio. I'll update as soon as I get it.

Yeah, I do too. Only a few physical games (standard editions) come with a manual today, and they’re usually from companies like LRG (I think my Persona 4 Golden copy came with a small manual).

It's just one of the many reasons I can't walk away from them. Interior box art and manuals are precious.

The problem is that every retailer I've looked at have already removed the Concord listing from their store page (those sneaky Sony ninjas moved fast with the recall order).

I pre ordered the physical floppy edition of Catacombs 3D. I have a working floppy drive that I can use it with. Never would have guessed that I would buy a game on floppy disk in 2024.

Yeah, Capcom really did some strange decisions with this game. NA only got physical version for Switch, while Europe only got it for PS4. Japan and Asia pn the other hand got both.

Picked up a physical copy of Astro Bot. Both because it was (as usual) cheaper than the PS Store, and because I wanted to own it.

Returned Outer Wilds. Not because I don't want to own it, but because they fucked it up. But they're fixing it, I'll be ordering a new copy as soon as that's available.

Suika Game is getting a physical release for the Switch on Nov 14 in Japan. It includes the DLC from the eShop:

• 2 Player mode
• Summer theme pack

Along with all new, exclusive content that'll only be included on this physical release:

• BGM pack (2 new music tracks)
• Background pack (2 new backgrounds)
• Poppy change pack (3 designs, changes the look of the the little cloud you control at the top of the screen)
• Decorating parts pack (51 designs - various decorations for the fruit)
• Ready Go animated pack (I have no idea what this means)

Supported Text Languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (traditional/simple), Korean, French, Spanish.

Pre-order listing is up only on Amazon JP for now.

Some of the physical games I've ordered have been delayed, but I still managed to snag these 3 physicals this week. Sea of Stars (€10) and Return to Monkey Island (€35) were very good deals even.

Oh and I couldn't help myself and bought the disc drive attachment since I plan on upgrading from my launch model PS5 to the PS5 Pro.

FYI: The PS4 physical version of Star Wars Jedi Survivor runs at 60 fps on PS5 and it appears to be complete on disc (there's no download required label on the box and the game comes on 2 discs).



One of the guys at does it play is currently testing this PS4 physical release. I might have to grab this one later on when it goes on a decent sale. Also, there's no PS5 upgrade option so keep that in mind in case you plan on picking this one up.

Rocco Schiavone PlayAsia has some placeholder listings for that game, but I think they're just placehoder and not real ones.

That said, this Cocoon Deluxe for the Switch from Super Deluxe looks really tempting... It's around €40 on Amazon JP.

Hmm... did not expect these two games to get a physical re-release in the form a collection. I was looking at the listing that's up on VGP and it looks like it comes with a steelbook. Might be worth collecting for anyone who's a fan of the games.

I just re-acquired the Switch physical copy of Witcher 3. I think I've purchased 3 times and sold twice now lol. Sealed copies for me each time.

So it looks like VGP managed to reprint AI: The Somnium Files for both PS4 and Switch. I'd say this is a good opportunity to snag a copy, especially since new copies were going for around $80 on eBay and from 3rd party sellers on Amazon.

Yeah, saw that this morning. It's weird since that Maximum Entertainment post is framing like everything is fine, when in the now deleted post they implied that the majority of employees that were part of My Merge Games are being laid off and thus not being moved into similar roles at their parent company.

PEGI physical editon of ANNO: Mutationem incoming! I've wanted to grab the Asian multi-language release from PlayAsia for ages, but I never pulled the trigger on it since other Asian and Japanese titles had priority. Glad I'll finally be able to grab this one locally!

The PEGI physical version releases on Nov 19.
