Pick-up artist (who believes rape should be legal) was chased out of Montreal bar

PUA is a magnet for sociopaths, people who see others as a game.

I don't think his views on rape fall into any particular political camp, it's just poorly rationalized craziness from someone who doesn't process empathy very well.

I am somewhat familiar with this guy, and the impression I get is that people are cherry picking some of his quotes and taking them out of context. I could be wrong, but that is the impression that I get. I think that part of his argument was for women to be more responsible about some of the situations that they place themselves in. I think that his main point was that it is too easy for both a woman and man to be drunk, have sex, and then for the woman to say that a guy raped her, even if they both consented at the time. He also says something along the lines of it being too easy for a man's life to be ruined by a woman who regrets having sex after the fact. Rape is never right, but I think that the above is what he was getting at with his comments.

Tell us how you really feel

EDIT: okay that's dismissive of me. On the chance that you are sincere, well, that's dangerous bullshit you're echoing. Let me track down some good links

This is him?

LOL.

Just LOL.

hah looks like borat/tony shalhoub in MIB/princess leia mashup.

Is there a defense force here yet? Roosh DF, that is?

"Hey guys, There's a peanut in this load of shit I just found, it must be food!!!"

PUAs used to be kinda funny and relatively harmless characters like this guy.

Seems the rhetoric have gotten more extreme of late.

I know that you're having a giggle, but even in the book that made the community "A Big Thing", the writer made it clear that mystery had some very serious mental health issues, as did quite a lot of the other bros.

Yes, a lot of them did. The problem is that the guys who got the most attention were the ones who had the mental health issues. I think that is the main reason PUA died out. Most of the normal guys were either drowned out by the very vocal minority, or they no longer wanted to be associated with the ones with most of the mental health issues who were garnering the most attention.

The guy may have shitty views or whatever but I don't condone the patrons' behavior unless he personally did something directly to them. If he was just out then there's no excuse.

I hope the people who threw drinks at him and attacked him physically get charges brought up on them.

I'm guessing you haven't read the op or the various links to and posts of his "shitty views"

The police report for those that are interested:
Quote:
I was walking with a group of male friends on Prince Authur street when I asked three women on the sidewalk for advice on which bar to go to. We talked for 5 minutes then all entered the bar that was in front of us. We had a round of tequilla shots. I did not know them beforehand.

I talked to one girl of the group who gave me the name "Jennifer." She complimented my beard and general attractiveness and asked me to come outside with her for a cigarette. She is approximately 23 years old, shoulder length hair, brown hair, brown eyes, and slim build. She has a piercing between her nose like farm bulls have.

I went outside and sat next to her. She began sensually rubbing her legs against mine. Her skirt was short. She went back inside and I found my friends.

After 5 minutes, a group of men entered the bar that were friends with the girl. They asked me to come outside to have a drink with them. I went outside and one of the men began acting aggressively towards me, asking me for my birth name. He was a tall man with a beard and ponytail. His English was not very good.

I stepped back and then "Jennifer" approached me aggressively and said, "Is your name Roosh?" I use this name for my online writings and published literature, but did not confirm it to her verbally. Then suddenly she threw her entire beer at my head. Two more of her female friends threw beers at me. I had to remove my wig because it was soaked with beer. The group tried to assault me further but I backed away with my friends. I feared for my safety.

As I left the bar, the group followed me, yelling vulgar language. One girl yelled, "Eat my cunt." We entered a building and they tried to trespass, but we closed the door. I called the police at that time and they took a brief statement, but did not make an arrest.

After the incident, a member of the group uploaded the video of the assault on Youtube under the title "Roosh V gets beer thrown in his face." It clearly shows them attacking me without just cause. One member of the group named Jessica Lelievre then boasted on Twitter from the account @Jess_Lelievre that she participated in the assault. She wrote, "Pooring my drink on Roosh V's head was the best moment EVER!!" (She misspelled the word 'pouring'.) Her profile states that she is a university student at Concordia.

Jessica looks similar to "Jennifer" but she is more plump in weight and does not have a piercing. She has brown hair, light brown eyes, and a large nose. After looking at her social networking accounts online, I can confirm that she participated in the attack by throwing a beer at me.

All throughout the night, her friends shared my Montreal address on Twitter, Youtube, and Reddit with the intent to continue their assault against me. I do not know the real name of "Jennifer," but she did state that Jessica Lelievre and her were "best friends forever."

Cape for an admitted rapist because he got a beer thrown on him

#2015

YOu seem to be going down a path to logical fallacy town.

Regardless of what he thinks, its not cool to just up and assault someone. WTF kind of person are you? Gross.

Like I said, unless he did something to these people other than being him and having his own views, attacking someone isnt cool.

If he is out to dinner with family or something do you think its ok for someone to come up to him while him and his family are minding their own business and assault him because he thinks differently about a topic?

It's disturbing how you're downplaying advocating and admitting to rape as "thinking differently." Also, he wasn't out to dinner with his family, he was out trying to pick up women.

You obviously don't know much about Roosh

Ok, I will try to describe this in a simpler fashion for you.

Say you didn't know what he thinks about rape. Say he was an advocate for toilet paper going under the roll instead of over the roll. If you saw him out somewhere would you attack him because he prefers it under?

Like I said, if he got physical or was harassing people then I am fine with what happened. But from accounts so far he was just out and people recognized him and remembered his views on rape and attacked him on THAT.

Its disturbing that you are downplaying assault and starting to use logical fallacies. Gross.

I don't need to entertain hypotheticals because I do know what he thinks, and it's nothing as innocuous as proper toilet paper hanging.

I can see there's nothing to be gained by engaging you further. Good luck.

A guy that thinks differently about a topic is a bit different than a fucking jackass rapist that by his own admission rapes women as much as he can and even says he should be able to do it legally if it's on private property. Shit, the guy got away from the situation pretty damn well for a fucking piece of shit scum of the earth guy. He deserves way, way worse.

I feel like even him getting beaten to death is somewhat merciful, given his views on sexual assault

We're talking about a scumbag who thinks women's right to safety isn't something that needs to be protected under law, is an admitted rapist in his own published work, and you're trying to make bullshit hypotheticals about toilet paper?

The fuck are you even trying to do?

You probably should step away for a bit as you are advocating assault. I don't agree with what he thinks but I don't think that's grounds for him to be physically attacked unless he did something to one of the attackers. This is not hard to understand but I feel like I am talking to a kindergartner that simply wants to argue. You are indeed done here, thank you for your time.

Hey, no matter what you or I think, this guy will continue to think whatever he wants, we can't change that whether we disagree with him or not. The fact of the matter is that in this instance, this specific instance, he was attacked not for anything he did at that moment but because he has different views on something. Did he attack any of the men or women there that night? No? Then there is no need for someone else to get violent just because he thinks differently.

I cannot believe what I am reading here. Disgusting.

Rape is wrong under any circumstances, but it really is disturbing to see the mob mentality against other posters who are simply trying to have a dialog about the topic. It's almost like a witch hunt against anyone who dares to express an opinion or viewpoint that varies from your own.

Remember kids: Assault is only a crime when it's against a man. Grab all the wimminz you like but shove a guy out of a bar and pour your drink on him? Simply unacceptable.

Are his defenders really such fucking babies?

/sigh, it wasn't a bullshit hypothetical. It was a very simple and very comprehendable analogy stating that regardless of what he thinks, unless he did something directly to those people present, assaulting him shouldn't be a response.

The fuck are you trying to do? Unreal.

The only disgusting thing here is the shit you are spewing. You think he wouldn't have raped that woman if his plan had went the other way? Did you even fucking read anything about the situation at all? Holy fucking shit.

I'd also expect people to chase down a serial murderer that had admitted his crimes and that was just about to pick and kill their next victim.
If you think that's "disgusting", then you are seriously messed up.

Disgusting what I am seeing here. Bad showing gaf, bad showing.

Yeah, go ahead and break down what's so "disgusting" about what I said. I'll wait.

I don't agree with his views at all in any way. However from the video it looks like people assaulted him because of what he believes and not that he did anything to them. UNless he physically assaulted someone in that group they have no reason to physically attack him.

Heh, who's bringing up garbage hypotheticals now? A serial murderer would be in jail or at least not out on video in clear sight.

Let the law deal with him.

Harassing a girl and dragging her to a bar= just fine guys, that's totally cool

Getting a drink thrown on your face and getting chased out of a bar because you are a serial rapist looking for your next victim= SUCH VIOLENCE.DISGUSTING, MOB MENTALITY URR DURR. HORRIBLE ASSAULT. JUST DIFFERENT OPINIONS!!!!

Jesus fuck man, just GTFO with that shit.

Funnily enough, you seem to ignore every single time that that scum grabbed the girl and dragged her to an empty bar. Are you missing this fucking important detail?

Was he wearing a wig to avoid exactly what went down? Haha

And they knew what he was about, the beer pouring was showing him what they think of his views.

So much this!

What the hell is going on here?

This guy is an irredeemable piece of shit, but there are *zero* people in the world that deserve to be assaulted because of their opinions and political views. There is video of the incident.

This is classic mob mentality and really scary.

I don't think that anyone agrees with him dragging a girl into a bar, if that is what he did. In fact, if you bothered to read, you would see that on multiple occasions people have said that they do not think that rape is okay under any circumstances.

He has literally raped people by his own admission. That's not just "opinions and political views"
