This is completely dependent on where you go.You can't make cool coffee 'in the first place'. Coffee always has to be brewed hot, then it's cooled down for an iced coffee.

You are absolutely wrong. There's a reason it's called cold-brewed coffee, which is what any person or business worth their salt is using in an iced coffee.
