Is the joke here that a picture of words has been so criminally overcompressed that it literally could just be typed out again and not suffer the same problems?
Tintin is insane.
And racist as fuck, judging by that last panel.
Obviously an older comic, but still, god damn.
Keep in mind that Tintin in congo is from the 30s. Or have you never heard of Tintin?
I've heard of it, yes, though it's not especially popular in the US (it's mostly because of GAF that I know of it). I'm aware that it's an older comic, but it's still surprising to see in this day and age.
funny pics thread > steam thread > funny pics threadstolen from the steam thread
Is there anything more European than spelling "boom!" with a "u"?

Even relatively more recent European comics made in the 80's and 90's still had a somewhat unflattering portrayal of Africans.I've heard of it, yes, though it's not especially popular in the US (it's mostly because of GAF that I know of it). I expected a racist image in panel #2 tbh.remember when Tintin skinned a monkey and wear it skin like a suit?

Yes.Was it posted here before?
They couldn't have picked a better picture.
2/10 Would not smurf
I really don't know what's funnier...the smurf staring at her, the chubby girl hating her, or the guy in the background using his imagination.
To be fair, the author acknowledged that he was heavily influenced by the racist environment he was raised in when he wrote this album, which is his second iirc. His later works get more sensitive about other cultures - there is quite a famous bit in the blue lotus about this but I can't find it.I've heard of it, yes, though it's not especially popular in the US (it's mostly because of GAF that I know of it).
