So I'm trying to plan a trip to London and I am searching rabidly for a well-rated hotel /bed & breakfast/whatever that won't gouge my wallet. Since this forum seems to be without geographical boundries does anyone have any recommendations or warnings? I'd like a good location that will provide me with access to various points of interest (I'm not bringing a touristey checklist with me or anything though I do want my options), but I really don't need much in the way of full-on facility. I don't intend to do much else in the room beside sleep and bathe, and it'd be a room just for me. Then again, I don't want a roach-infested, sheet-stained hole either.
