Was playing a great game yesterday. Landed in an area with 3 buildings. Looted them to some great weaponary and armor. Killed about 6 people who were also coming to loot.

Left when the circle started shrinking, got on a bike to drive to the centre. Forgot to completely stop before getting off. Died.

Just played a match with rainy weather in-game while having a thunderstorm outside in RL. Damn that match was immersive as hell.

Almost got the chicken dinner but sadly I got flanked so only 3rd place for me.

Anyone else having a easier time killing people on weekends? Seems like more casual players are online. Maybe I'm just lucky.

i love that somehow strafing really fucks with your accuracy but jumping straight in the air is just fine

They are currently working on a mode called war that doesn't have a lot of details. It might be what you're looking for.

A 50 vs 50 mode would be insane.

Decided to play on the US server for a change, you bloody yanks are terrible (or my ping horrifically changes encounters), I got my first solo chicken dinner, killed 10 people in total, many of which were when they had the drop on me. I have conquered America.

yank servers are a piece of piss, noticed it when i went on the test server. clogged with dough-boys sprawled out over their five grand's worth of leet gaming decadence as they clumsily bounce their mouse between the game and their 2 viewer twitch stream, while over here we have to compete with ivan on his overclocked AK-486 who hasn't slept in a year and considers each chicken dinner a civic ode to the motherland which will elevate his village to greatness.

That was the saddest thing. I met a cool duo partner, survived into the top 5 against all odds, and then the game disabled my mic after we both died. They could still talk but I couldn't, and because the game doesn't link Steam accounts I couldn't find their profile to add them. They couldn't find me either.

I keep finding sniper accessories for two rounds, and then as I'm crossing the big hill overlooking Pochinki and the field, a Dacia pulls up literally right next to me without the driver seeing me. I gun him down from behind with an UMP, and he's got an M24, 8x scope, Level 3 vest and helmet, the works. I have a compensator and extended mag, this is a sign from God.

However, I also have the painful decision of dropping my UMP or SCAR, both of which are fully tricked out. I decide - with severe regrets and doubts - to get rid of my UMP, thinking that the SCAR would be more useful for a mid distance fight and at least somewhat useful in close quarters.

I decide that at the very least I can practice my sniping before everyone descends on me, and manage to tag a very reckless tag guy running in a very predictable line across the edge of Pochinki. Just then I hear another Dacia drive up (probably attracted by my shots) and duck behind a tree. I pull out my SCAR because I think the driver saw me, but then I catch a fleeting glimpse of them trying to flank around a ridge to my right. They run right past me and are looking away, then they start to turn and I realize two things

A) They're about to turn back around and they'll see me

B) My SCAR has a 4x on it and I don't have time to switch to the red dot if they turn around.

I try to hold RMB and fire on them from 20 feet away, only to miss most of the shots, they whip around and kill me with a single AK burst.



The lesson here is: Never abandon your UMP, especially when it's the one that delivered you the sniper rifle.

Me and my buddy went to the spawn island earlier this week, there's supposed to be military loot but we were unlucky and got absolutely fuck all. Time is pretty tight but you can do it.

You need to drop on the North East coast, find a boat and double time it up there, absolutely zero point if you don't drop near there. 5mins sounds like a lot, but it's really not by the time you've took the boat and had a look around.

I did this under protest with a duo partner and we ended up just a few guns and no optics, no meds, nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn't find from looting a few houses. Serious waste of time but I hope that shuts him up from asking to do it again.

They talked about adding in dusk/dawn and fog/overcast variants a few weeks ago, should be pretty cool, stuff like that goes a long way in making the same map feel fresh.

Always thought having dynamic weather would be awesome, It worked that way in Arma 3 battle royale, although it was rare sometimes the game would start at night but in the final circles the sun would be out. Last half turning to nighttime with NVG's was pretty intense stuff too. Adding additional stuff like random rain that can occur in the middle of a match would be super cool as well.

Well, I got top 5 by Mad Max driving a jeep in erratic directions for the last 10-15 minutes, only stopping to use first aid kits. Sadly someone eventually hit me with a headshot while I was moving. I think I got to the very final circle or close to it.

Was in a pitched battle with another Duo as the Blue closed in, got knocked down to a sliver of health so it was either run or die to the Blue. Had three shots ping off the pan before I got to a rock and healed up.

Then I got pincered by another group and died immediately. Still, good work pan.

Got #4 in my very first game through the ever-classic "hide in the corner of a room with a shotgun like a coward" strategy and some luck. Got 2 kills. Ultimately, my death came when I ended up hiding in the last structure within the play area. Got killed by someone prone in front of the door. Obviously, he knew there was likely to be someone in the only structure in the play area.

How do you not suck ass at this game? I feel like I'm fairly good in a fight, and have little trouble getting to top 20 or top 10, but in those final circles I almost always get destroyed. Most of the time-- in those final circles -- Once I have to move I just get lit up by someone who apparently got there first.

So, after my initial purchase, and then refund, I've re-purchased the game again after these performance patches.

Well, performance is still terrible, I have to play on lowest settings to be able to reach 60fps, which is disgracefull. But this isnt what annoys me the most, what annoys me the most is :

The delay when opening dores, picking up items, entering vehicles...this isnt an issue just with me, all my friends have this, not on all games though, but on a good majority theres a delay when interacting with something.

Theres 3 ways to aim, from the hip, clicking right button, and ads, and all 3 aim at completely different places...so, which one is the real one? Just the ADS basically.

The fact that you cant switch shoulder is quite annoying as well and makes no sense in a game like this, but well.

Considering all this, I still had fun playing with some friends, but I cant recommend this to anyone, its still way way unfinished. It also seems strange that all these battle royal take place in the same areas (rural with small towns and maybe a military post), it gets tired pretty fast, why dont we have city maps ( Imagine somehting like The Purge), seems like none of these games are really inovating on anything.

I feel like if you watched 10min of any random streamer you would have been aware of all those issues. It's no where near a great online experience in terms of net code, but its popular because the gameplay works.


You can change shoulders though. Hold Right click and lean left or right button.

You can switch shoulders, I think it's Q and E when you hold down right click. Weird about your delay issue, I'm glad I've not experienced that yet.

There's lag and delays early game when everybody are scavenging, but after that I rarely experience any lag or delays.
